CDS DONATES 2 DEEP FREEZERS TO GHQ COOKHOUSE
In fulfillment of his promise, the Chief of the Defense Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah has donated 2-deep freezers to the General Headquarters Camp cookhouse.
The donation was done by the Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters, Major General Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu on his behalf on Wednesday 8 May, 2024.

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has visited several Departments within the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday 7 May, 2024 in Burma Camp.
He pledged to support them overcome existing challenges. He also stated his commitment to ensuring all Departments perform at their optimal capacity and efficiency.
The tour provided the CDS and his staff firsthand insights into the operations of the Departments, as well as the administrative and logistics challenges confronting them.

The Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Team and Engagement Platoon of the Second Ghanaian Battalion serving under the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) have donated to some deprived Primary Schools.
The Battalion apart from its kinetic operations of ensuring peace and security and protecting civilians, also provides humanitarian assistance the local communities. One of such charitable gestures was the donation of Teaching and Learning Materials to some deprived Pre-Schools in Sector South, Abyei on Monday 6 May, 2024.

A 3-man delegation from the Turkish Aerospace has called on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu on Tuesday, 7 May 2024, at the Naval Headquarters to explore partnership and collaboration opportunities in defence and aerospace industries.
The delegation, led by the Chief Operations in charge of Corporate Marketing and Communications, Mr Yunus Sen expressed appreciation to the CNS for the warm reception and assured the Ghana Navy of Turkish Aerospace’s commitment to delivering modern and high-quality product and services.

The Ghana Military Academy (GMA) has honoured the legendary boxer Professor Azumah Nelson for his outstanding achievements, dedication and contribution to the boxing industry.

The 1Infantry Battalion (1Bn) has held its second quarter religious parade for Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) trainees at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Michel Camp on Sunday 5 May, 2024.
In his sermon, Reverend Lieutenant Franklyn Kumi-Lartey admonished personnel to remember where they are coming from and the training they have gone through to enable them deliver on their responsibilities.
