ANG KABAYANIHAN AY HINDI NATAPOS SA KASAYSAYAN.
Heroism did not end with history.
Today, 31 August 2026, is National Heroes Day (Araw ng mga Bayani). We honor the courage, sacrifice, and love of country shown by the women and men who helped shape the Filipino nation.
Their heroism, however, did not end in history. It lives on in every Filipino who chooses integrity over convenience, service over self-interest, and compassion over indifference.
For Filipinos everywhere — including those living and working far from home — heroism can take many forms: caring for family, serving the community, representing the Philippines with dignity, and helping build understanding and goodwill wherever we are.
As we remember our national heroes, may we also reflect on how we, in our own ways, can continue their legacy through everyday acts of service, malasakit, and bayanihan.
