GAF Education Director Embarks on Familiarisation Tour of 1 Garrison Educational Centre
The Ghana Armed Forces is set to recruit 12,000 young Ghanaian over the next four years as part of a new nationwide enlistment programme aimed at expanding the country's military strength and offering job opportunities to the youth 4 days ago.

The 69 Airborne Force has held a handing/taking over ceremony between Colonel Louis Yaw Boakye (outgoing) and Lt Col Evans Yaw Kumedjah (incoming) on Thursday 12 June 2025 at Barwah Barracks,Tamale.
As part of the ceremony a unit washing bay and welfare buses were commissioned.

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Ghana Army – Major General (Maj Gen) Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu, has visited the 5 Infantry Battalion (5Bn), as part of his maiden tour of the Units under the Army, since his assumption of office.
The visit, which took place on Thursday 5 June 2025, had the General Officer Commanding, Southern Command – Brigadier General Isaac Nicholas Paintsil, and Principal Staff Officers of the Army Headquarters, and Southern Command, in the entourage of the COAS.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Southern Command (S/COMD), Ghana Army – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Isaac Nicholas Paintsil has paid a two-day maiden visit to 2 Infantry Battalion (2Bn) at Myohaung Barracks Apremdo, Takoradi.
The visit from Wednesday 28 to Thursday 29 May 2025, formed part of the Commander’s familiarization tour of Units and military installations under the Command’s purview, since having assumed command as the new GOC.

Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang this afternoon returned home from London, United Kingdom, where she travelled for medical treatment.
She was welcomed at the airport by President John Dramani Mahama.
