As emphasized in my remarks, we acknowledge that truly valuing teachers' voices requires more than policies. It demands cultivating a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration within schools and communities. If we remain silent and allow those seeking power to manipulate our profession, lower standards, and denigrate teaching compared to other fields, it undermines us all.

Congratulations to Fuseina Fuseini and all her fellow award winners. May you all continue shining brightly as you serve Mother Ghana through this noble profession.

The past two days have provided stimulating engagement for educators, learners, and education stakeholders through the Symposium and Exhibition events of the 2024 Ghana Teacher Prize. October 5 is finally here with us as we honor and celebrate our devoted teachers for their selfless and dedicated service to Ghana.

You are cordially invited to join me this morning at 10:00 AM at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where we will climax this year's activities with a grand durbar in recognition of our country's outstanding teachers.
