I am pleased to inform all our chiefs and people of Ga Mashie that, I have been informed by the Regional Minister today that together with the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources they have resolved that the land will continue to remain that of the Independence Avenue Schools. They further said, the BoG will continue with their building of the demolished school as planned. They expressed their joy in the mature manner we all handled the unfortunate situation. I therefore wish to express my sincere gratitude to all who joined me in the fight to defend the interest of our children and their teachers, notably the school authorities, old students, parents, our Chiefs and leaders as well as all concerned GaDangbes. I also wish to thank the Ministers for Local Government and Rural Development, Lands and Natural Resources and the hardworking Greter Accra Regional Minister. Also grateful to the Mayor of Accra for supporting us in this initiative. Together we shall defend, protect and uplift the image of our Country and our region. .Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye
