The Complementary Education Agency of the Ministry of Education has honoured the National Lottery Authority and Bost Energies Limited Company for sponsoring the International Literacy Day, 2025 celebration.
Hon. Haruna Iddrissu, the Minister for Education presented citations to the two entities. The brief ceremony brought the Agency and the sponsors together to review strategies to deepen collaboration to enhance Complementary Education in Ghana.

The Complementary Education Agency (CEA) of the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Luminos Fund, the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, and UNICEF and with the financial support from the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) have launched the revised CBE Curriculum learning materials for Asante-Twi, Dagare, Dagbani, and Ewe.
Present were the Hon. Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, Deputy Minister for Education, Prof. George Oduro, the Technical Advisor to the Minister for Education, Hon. Daniel Kwesi Ashiamah, Executive Director, the Complementary Education Agency, and Mrs. Diana Quarshe the Education Specialist, FCDO. The rest are Mr. Osama Makkawi Khogali, the UNICEF Country Representative to Ghana, Mr. Senyo Tettegah, the Country Representative, the Luminos Fund, Ms. Wedadu Sayibu, the CBE Alliance Convenor-School for Life, and Traditional Authorities from the Ga Traditional Council.

The Complementary Education Agency and Solu Investment, the producers of Nero Beverages have signed a historic MoU. The later will build learning centres for the Agency. Mr. P. Manab, the Director of Solu Investment was happy to partner the Agency to deliver Complementary Education to Ghanaians. Hon. Daniel Kwesi Ashiamah, the Ag. Executive Director, CEA expressed profound gratitude to Solu Investment for taking the initiative to support the Agency in her quest to ensure no child is left behind. He extended a heartfelt request to other entities to come on board to help change the narrative of out-of-school situation in Ghana.

On behalf of the leadership of Complementary Education Agency, CEA-Central led by our hardworking Ag. Regional Director madam Esther Nana Yaa Ayensu, the Staff and Learners, I write to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Member of Parliament of Ghana for the people of Komenda Edina Equafo Abrem Municipality, Hon. Samuel Atta-Mills for donating hundreds of exercise books to the agency to help improve the sustainability of the various classes being managed by the agency.
