In a heartfelt and joyful ceremony, Mr. Isaac Owusu Mensah, Deputy Comptroller-General of Immigration (Finance & Administration), was given a befitting send-off at the National Headquarters after over 30 years of dedicated service to Ghana.

Representing the Comptroller-General, DCG/Operations and Command Post, Mr. Laud O. Affrifah, led the memorable farewell—marked by thunderous applause, warm tributes, gifts, and regimental rituals.

The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohamed Mubarak, commissioned a newly constructed four-story residential facility for GIS in Savelugu, Northern Region.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by the Minister, Northern Region, Hon. Ali Adolf John, the Chief Director Interior, Mrs. Doreen Annan, CGI, Mr. Samuel Basintale Amadu, and other high-ranking officials from the Prisons, Police and Fire Services, Narcotics Control Commission as well as MD of SHCL Mr John S. Bawah

This new facility is expected to significantly improve the living conditions of GIS personnel stationed in the Savelugu area.
