Yesterday, the Ghana Library Authority held a Stakeholder Forum on the review of its Act, bringing together former Executive Directors and key representatives from the literary and knowledge sector to share their insights, experiences, and recommendations towards shaping a stronger future for library services in Ghana.

The forum provided a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and collective reflection on strengthening the legal framework that guides library development and access to information nationwide.

The Ministry of Education GH, in collaboration with the Ghana Library Authority and Sanitopia CIC, has officially commissioned a 12-Seater Ultra-Modern Sanitation Facility at the George Padmore Research Library, Ridge – Accra.

This state-of-the-art facility, generously donated by Sanitopia CIC, marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing safe, dignified, and world-class infrastructure for library users across Ghana.

The Ghana Library Authority extends its sincere gratitude to Sanitopia CIC for this donation, Koshakis Ltd for their professional ex*****on, and the Ministry of Education for their continued support in advancing the development of our libraries.

Together, we remain dedicated to creating spaces where every Ghanaian can learn, grow, and thrive in comfort and dignity.
