From Monday, 27th April to Wednesday, 30th April 2025, I will be visiting final-year students across the constituency as they prepare to sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
This initiative, dubbed โ๐๐ฎ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฉ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐,โ is aimed at encouraging and motivating our candidates ahead of this important milestone in their academic journey.
As part of the visit, I will be presenting each student with a pair of proudly Ghana-made sandals, produced right here in the Weija Gbawe Constituency. This is not only to support our students but also to promote and celebrate local enterprise.
I look forward to engaging with the students, sharing words of encouragement, and wishing them success in their upcoming examinations.

Lawyer Jerry Ahmed Shaib writes,
My dear NDC colleagues in government, this much-advertised โresetโ is proving to be quite something. If the aim was to reset public confidence in state institutions, then you are achieving that but in the wrong direction.
You came in with a promise to โreset.โ It was a powerful slogan, much like โ24-Hour Economy,โ but slogans must translate into conduct. Increasingly, the gap between message and method is raising concern.
The recent arrests of critics such as Abronye and Baba Amando, add to the impression of intolerance and the arrogance of power. Please learn from Akufo-Addo and Bawumia and show restraint, particularly under provocation. The true test of leadership is not how it plays to the gallery, but how it responds to dissent.
On national security, the nation, especially our men and women in green, are wondering why they still donโt have their substantive Minister of Defence since Dr Omane Boamah died in August 2025. They feel disrespected. They worry about toying with such a strategic portfolio. Leaving a vacuum for such a long time at the Defence Ministry is not exactly reassuring. Ato Forson has more than enough on his plate as Finance Minister to be acting. Some even worry that there is some fe**sh around it in your mind that is why you are afraid to act decisively on appointing someone.
Perhaps I should step back and watch how this plays out politically as our formidable candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, leads the NPPโs reorganisation towards 2028. But Ghanaโs democracy is bigger than any party. If you cannot build, at the very least, do not set us back.
Mr. President, John Dramani Mahama, the responsibility to reassure the nation through both action and tone rests with you.

The WEIJA GBAWE MCE must really sit up ooo ๐๐ฅ
What is โReginaโ and โApprintishipโ again? Even the MCEโs name is turning into spelling competition for us. Today itโs Lampty, tomorrow itโs Lamptey, next week itโs โLemteyโ ๐
At this point, grammar is also doing politics in Weija-Gbawe!
We are not against anyone, but seriously, the level of carelessness on this flyer is giving confusion deluxe. If basic spelling canโt be handled, how are we managing big municipal matters?
NDC Weija Gbawe, If flyers canโt get correct spellings, how do we trust their policies?, tighten up! We need seriousness, not comedy show flyers.
Weija Gbawe chaleโฆ at this point even autocorrect is begging for rest ๐๐
