The Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) adopts the value chain approach to implement agriculture policies and plans which provides direction on the market orientation of the Agriculture sector. The Agribusiness Unit was created to play a facilitating role between MoFA and the private sector to contribute to the realization of this strategy. The Agribusiness Unit (ABU) of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture participated in the third edition of the Agro food fair exhibition in Accra. The exhibition which was held at the Accra International Conference Center was opened on the 1st of December, and closed on the 3rd of December, 2015. The primary motive for participating in the fair was to provide technical information to investors and potential investors interested in the agricultural sector and also to equip agribusinesses with the necessary knowledge and skills.
