Urgent Attention Required: Allegations of Corruption at Agona Swedru Technical Institute

We bring to your notice a disturbing trend of corruption at Agona Swedru Technical Institute, formerly known as NAVTCO, under the leadership of Headmaster Mr. Clifford Boakye.

Despite the government's efforts to make education accessible, it is alleged that students are being made to pay for the following unauthorized fees have been reported ¹:
- Admission fee: GH₵ 2,640
- Boarding protocol fee: GH₵ 5,649 (GH₵ 3,000 GH₵ 2,640)
- Change of residential status from day to boarding: GH₵ 1,500

We urge the government and the Minister of Education to investigate these allegations and take immediate action. It's concerning that such practices persist despite the government's commitment to free education.

We request a thorough probe to ensure transparency and accountability.
