Over the weekend, I led a successful clean-up exercise as part of our efforts to keep a clean municipality.
I am grateful to everyone who came out to support this exercise , especially our dedicated volunteers and residents who made it a success.
Sanitation remains a key priority, and we all have a collective responsibility to ensure that our municipality remains cleaner, safer, and healthier for everyone.

I visited some selected centres across the municipality to donate pens and pencils in support of our BECE candidates as they commenced their examinations today.
This gesture is not merely a support, it is a demonstration of solidarity with our students during this important period and a reaffirmation of our belief that education remains the surest path to empowering the youth and securing a dignified future.
Once again, I wish all our candidates the very best and i am confident they will excel in their examination.

Today marks exactly one year since I was confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive of the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly.
It is both an honour and a humbling responsibility to serve the good people of our municipality. Throughout this journey, I have remained guided by a relentless commitment to building a better Municipality for all.
Having grown up in Accra Newtown, I understand firsthand the challenges within our municipality, and I deeply appreciate the progress we have made over the years.
Since assuming office, we have implemented several projects and interventions in the areas of infrastructure, education, sanitation, and skills development, all aimed at improving livelihoods and accelerating development.
As we make these strides, we value your feedback and remain committed to addressing challenges and ensuring that every community benefits from our efforts.
To the staff of the Assembly, it has been a privilege working with you, and I look forward to our continued collaboration. I am equally grateful to our Member of Parliament, Hon. Yussif Jajah for his continuous support and shared vision.
I extend my sincere appreciation to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for making me a key part of his RESET agenda at the local level, and above all, I thank Almighty Allah for His guidance and protection.
I remain deeply motivated and committed to working with you all to achieve the progress we collectively desire.

Together with the Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Tourism, Hon. Yussif Jajah, I joined family, loved ones, and sympathizers at the forty (40) days du’a of the late Alhaji Farouk (Fungbo), held at the Shell Filling Station in Accra Newtown.
His passing remains a profound loss to us all, and it is our prayer that Allah grants him eternal rest and comforts his family during this difficult time.

I had the honor of receiving Mr. Michael Kmeicinski, Head of the Political Office at the U.S. Embassy in Ghana, in my office.
Our discussions covered a broad range of issues, including sanitation, education, information technology, and potential areas of collaboration between the Ayawaso North Municipality and the U.S. Embassy in Ghana.
I also took the opportunity to share key interventions we are spearheading within the municipality, notably the Nima-Mamobi drainage project, the development of a 24-hour model market, and other strategic initiatives in education, sanitation, and infrastructure. These efforts are aligned with H.E. John Dramani Mahama’s vision to Reset Ghana.

During a brief ceremony held at the forecourt of the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly yesterday, we presented tools and equipment to selected beneficiaries under the Government’s National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP).
The programme forms part of the vision of H.E John Dramani Mahama to tackle unemployment through skills development and mentorship.
I used the opportunity to encourage the beneficiaries to take full advantage of this intervention by committing themselves to mastering their respective trades. I also urged them to safeguard the equipment provided and put it to productive use.
I extend my sincere appreciation to the Regional Director of NAP, Mr. Klutse; our ever-supportive Member of Parliament, Hon. Yussif Jajah; the Ayawaso North YEA Director, Mr. Musah; and all stakeholders who joined us for this important ceremony.

I joined mourners at Accra Newtown for the Janazah prayer of the late Hajia Fati Amadu, who was laid to rest at the Awudome Cemetery yesterday.
“Mma,” as we affectionately called her, was known for her kindness and deep love for people.
I extend my sincerest condolences to her children and the entire family during this difficult time. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannah.
