Poor waste management remains a major challenge in many low-income communities across Africa.

This , we spotlight Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, founder of Wecyclers, who turned this challenge into an opportunity by creating a recycling system that uses low-cost cargo bikes to collect waste from households while rewarding residents for recycling.

Through this innovation, Wecyclers has improved sanitation, created jobs, and promoted environmental awareness in communities.

Turning problems into projects!.

Where others see challenges, young Africans are creating solutions.
Across the continent, a new generation is rising through innovation, leadership, and courage.

Africa’s future is not waiting; it is being built now.
That is why we built the 1BA Hub to champion platforms, ideas, and opportunities that empower young minds to become problem-solvers across Africa.

Because when young people are equipped, communities transform.

What began as a vision is now a movement.

The launch of the 1BA Hub was more than an event, it was the beginning of a space where ideas meet action, innovation meets opportunity, and people come together to build the future.

From the energy in the room to the powerful connections made, every moment reminded us that greatness starts when bold minds gather in one place.

This is only the beginning.

Watch how it all unfolded. 🎥✨

“I'm always a shy and reserved type, but today the fact that I was bold enough to contribute to the ideas my group was discussing was really uplifting for me. I am really excited to be part of this Hub 😎”

~ Participant, 1BA Hub

This is what the Hub is about.

Not just ideas… but confidence.
Not just discussions… but growth.
Not just participation… but transformation.

We’re creating a space where every voice matters, even the quiet ones.

And when those voices begin to speak?
That’s where real impact begins.

VOICES FROM THE HUB...

The Launch of the Hub wasn’t just about launching Problem-Solving 2.0…
It was about hearing the voices that will shape the future in the coming days.
And what we heard?
POWER. PASSION. PURPOSE.
From students across the University of Ghana and Accra Technical University, one message came through loud and clear:
“I have ideas… I just needed the right space.”
That space is here.
The 1BA Hubs are not just platforms, they are launchpads for bold thinking and real impact.
Our young people are not waiting for change.
They are ready to CREATE it.

The question is:
What problem are YOU ready to solve?

UG 1BA HUB ACTIVATED!
We’re proud to announce the launch of our very first Problem-Solving Hub at the University of Ghana, 1BA UG Hub.

This marks the beginning of something powerful, a space where students come together to think boldly, build solutions, and take action on real challenges.

The movement has started.
And this is only the beginning.
One hub down. Many more to go.
Let’s build the future together.
