MCE FAMILIARISATION TOUR:
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Solomon K**i Brako paid courtesy visits to the Chiefs and Elders of Yeboakrom and Oda Nkwanta where he discussed issues of development and governance. A well-attended community meeting was held at the Yeboakrom M/A school and the Oda Nkwanta Chief palace respectively, providing a platform for residents to voice their concerns and development priorities which included; Youth unemployment and skills training needs, construction of a Teachers' Bungalow, the community school’s addition to the school feeding programm, poor nature of their inner roads, public latrine and gutters

In his address, Hon. Brako assured the communities of the Assembly’s commitment to addressing their concerns within available resources. He urged residents to support government interventions, participate actively in local governance, and maintain peace and unity in the area.

The familiarisation tour to Yeboakrom and Oda Nkwanta provided valuable insights into the needs of the communities and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to inclusive and participatory development. It also strengthened the relationship between the district leadership and the people of the communities.

MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE VISIT BECE EXAMINATION CENTERS

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Birim Central Municipal Assembly, Hon. Solomon K**i Brako visited the Examination centers within the Municipality to have firsthand information about the BECE Exams and also to encourage the students partaking in the exams.

The MCE and his team, the Municipal Education Director (MED), and the media first visited Attafuah SHS and later to ST. Francis SHTS.
He (MCE) addressed the BECE candidates on the importance of education as an impetus for a better future. And therefore asked them to take their education seriously as they could become future leaders.

The MCE and the MED took turns to encourage the pupils at the various centers. They also advised the candidates to shun fear and be hopeful about the results. The MCE went on to caution candidates against examination malpractices and to stick to what they know and could remember.
