ANC NPP YOUTH WING HOLDS A RETREAT

On Saturday, 20th August 2022, the YOUTH WING of our noble constituency (AKUAPEM NORTH) had its maiden retreat to rekindle the wing at the constituency level, discuss the way forward towards rekindling of the wing at the various towns and electoral areas. It gathering was also used to educate PS Youth Organizers on their roles in breaking the eight(8).

In attendance were the Immediate past National Organizer of the Party and now the Director General of National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr. Sammi Awuku,
The Eastern Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Adamu Musah Raha,
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Municipality, Hon. Barimah Asiedu Sarpong, the Constituency Youth Organizer for Okere, Daniel Abboah aka Fusion,
the Constituency Chairman Mr. Omane Mensah Bonsu and his entire Executives.

All Polling Stations Youth Organizers in the constituency who were the focus of the event were present among other Party faithfuls.

At the meeting, a committee was formed to oversee the activities of the Wing. The 40 member ANC Youth Wing working committee was inaugurated and its members sworn into office by the Constituency Secretary Mr. Samuel Kodua Boateng.

Invited dignitaries took turns to address the gathering with most of them commending the office of the Youth Organizer for the initiative and emphasizing on the need for the youth to be the mouthpiece of the party and government and tasked them to work relentless without being complacent going into 2024.
Mr Sammi Awuku in his remarks anchored on the need to Maintain winning ways, and strengthening of the base of the party by closing ranks and uniting each with each party member. Mr. Awuku educated the youth on politics moving from global to local and now to personal and tasked the youth to know the churches, mosques, influential persons and all other groups and places in their localities.
He concluded his address with a promise of always supporting the youth and playing an active role in the activities of the constituency going into 2024.
There was an open forum where all present were given the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions concerning the youth and the party as a whole, there was also workshop session during the meeting, where Electoral Areas gathered to discuss issues of their localities and the way forward for the youth wings in their various areas after which reports were read from the workshops.

Akuapem North Constituency NPP holds Unity Party

On Saturday 31st July 2022,
the Constituency Executive Committee under the leadership of Chairman Omane Mensah Bonsu held a colourful Unity Party for Electoral Area Coordinators, Polling Station Executives and rank and file of the party. Th gathering was used as baseline to re unite the party towards the agenda to break the 8 jinx in 2024.

The Chairman in his address thanked all delegates for the resounding confidence they have reposed in them to lead the constituency for the next 4 years.

“We are grateful to party members and well wishers do the successful conduct of the long awaited ANC elections”;
“Let’s re unite with all party people since every single vote will count in our quest for the NPP to hand over power to NPP”, the Marketing Expert said.
