POST PRIMARIES:
As part of reconciliation procedures, and to build a a solid united force for victory in 2024, the Parliamentary Candidate elect (Hon Sedem Afenyo) together with members of the Constituency elections committee met with various aspirants who contested the PC race.

RECAP:
At the end of the Primaries in Amasaman Constituency (held at the Amasaman School Park), HE JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA and HON SEDEM AFENYO emerged the overall winners selected to lead the NDC in the general elections.

This represents the second time Hon Sedem Afenyo had been selected to lead the party in the same capacity; he was the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate in Amasaman Constituency.

Congratulations Hon. Sedem Afenyo!

RECAP:
The National Democratic Congress had it's Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries on 13th May 2023 across the country. However a few constituencies had their Parliamentary Primaries on hold for various reasons.

Amasaman Constituency presented nine (9) Parliamentary Candidate aspirants, the highest this season in Greater Accra Region. A successful vetting of the aspirants produced the balloting results below:
