FEED GHANA PROGRAMME BOOSTS FARMERS IN AYENSUANO

The Feed Ghana Programme (FGP), a key national initiative launched by President John Dramani Mahama in April 2025 to achieve food self-sufficiency, modernize agriculture, and create sustainable jobs, is being rolled out across the country.
In line with this, the District Chief Executive for Ayensuano, Hon. Frederick Yaw Joshua Lartey, has confirmed the delivery of bags of fertiliser for onward distribution to local farmers.

According to the DCE, the inputs will be given to farmers at no cost to help increase farm productivity and enhance crop yields in the district.
Endorsing the move, the Queen Mother of Coaltar, Afua Asiedua III, urged farmers to apply the fertilisers effectively on their farms to maximize production.
This intervention underscores Government's dedication to empowering farmers, boosting food production, and driving sustainable agricultural growth in Ayensuano.

Feed Ghana. Feed the Future. Build a Food-Secure Ghana.
