The Koforidua Regional Command, on 2nd October, 2025 organized an orientation program for the newly posted Cadet intake 19 and recruit intake 30.
The program took place at the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council hall (ERCC)where the Eastern Regional commander, DCOI Nicholina Asare chaired the program .
Various heads of departments and units in the region had the chance to educate the new officers in the command.
In attendance was the Regional commander, Deputy Regional Commmder, DCOI Awal Hussein Mohammed ACI Alfred Antwi Bota Head of legal department (EASTERN REGION) and all departmental heads.

The Deputy Minister for the Interior, Hon. Ebenezer Okletey tielabi . On 19th April,2025 , commissioned a brand new office complex for the Ghana Immigration Service at Aduamoa in the Kwahu East District, Eastern Region.
The new office structure includes a reception desk, five offices, a mini conference room, a kitchen, two separate washrooms with showers and a holding cell with a washroom. All offices are equipped with fans and air conditioners.A water storage tank with a capacity of approximately 3500 liters is included to guarantee the consistent supply of water.
The office space was funded by Aduamoahene who doubles as the Kwahu Benkumhene of the Kwahu traditional area , Nana Ahea Tutu Brempong II
The commissioning was graced with the presence of the CGI, Samuel Basintale Amadu, Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng III, Kwahumanhene , Hon. Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi Constituency and other dignitaries.

THE GHANA IMMIGRATION SERVICE, KOFORIDUA COMMAND HAD THEIR GENERAL WELFARE MEETING ON MONDAY, 8TH JULY, 2024 AT THE NEW JUABEN SOUTH MUNICIPAL HALL, IN WHICH STAR LIFE INSURANVE AND FIDELITY BANK - KOFORIDUA BRANCH WERE PRESENT TO SELL THEIR INSURANCE POLICIES TO OFFICERS AND MEN.
