The recruits of the Armour Training School in 3 Garrison, Sunyani are set to pass out after successfully undergoing a six-month rigorous basic infantry training at the school. In line with that, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Southern Command, Brig Gen M Amoah Ayisi on behalf of the Chief of the Army Staff, Maj Gen T Oppong Peprah paid a working visit there this morning to congratulate the recruits for successfully completing their training.
Speaking to them at a durbar, the GOC asked the recruits to remain professional and disciplined and be ready to be deployed wherever ordered, taking into consideration the security threats facing the country. He also asked them to eschew bad company and take on good role models so they can aspire to achieve higher laurels for themselves and the Army. Later, the GOC met with the Instructors and staff of the school where he thanked them for giving the recruits good training, making them good soldiers out of raw civilians.

General Officers Commanding (GOC) Southern Command, further went on to announce to the general public that, the 2022/2023 Application Forms are available but due to discriminatory acts at Banks, Post Offices and other sectors that they've been selling out the Application Form, we decided not to put this year's Application Forms at those Sectors.
