COMBAT TRAINING SCH COMMENCES 2ND SEMESTER 12-WEEK BASIC WEAPON COURSES
Ghana Army’s Combat Training School has officially commenced its Basic Mortar, Basic Medium Machine Gun, and Basic Infantry Platoon Weapons Courses 1/25, to help lay a solid foundation for selected Non-Commissioned Officers of the Ghana Armed Forces, as they begin their career development.

SEAMAN GUNNER 1ST CLASS QUALIFICATION COURSE VISITS 66 ARTY REGT
Students of Seaman Gunner First Class Qualification Course 1-2025 of Ghana Navy’s Naval Training Command paid a training visit to Ghana Army’s 66 Artillery Regiment to introduce the students on the operations of the Regiment, and educate them on the artillery capabilities of the Ghana Armed Forces.

ATRS KICKSTARTS MAIDEN ARTILLERY YOUNG OFFICERS COURSE
Ghana Army’s Artillery Training School, based at the Akoefe Training Camping in the Volta Region, has commenced its maiden Young Officers Artillery Course 1-25, reflecting on the core values of the Artillery Corps, and as a means to institutionalize Officer training through homegrown excellence, driven by professional initiative.

GHANA ARMY: COAS PAYS MAIDEN VISIT TO UNITS UNDER NORTHERN COMMAND
Chief of the Army Staff, Ghana Army – Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu has paid operational visits to the Headquarters Northern Command (N/COMD), 6 Infantry Battalion, 69 Air Borne Force, 10, 11 and 12 Mechanized Battalions, Army Special Operations Training School, 155 Armoured Regiment, 93 Signal Regiment, and the Joint Task Force Unit, Bawku.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHMENT PARADE FOR UNISFA GHANBATT 3 & GHANMED 3
The Ghana Armed Forces has held a Mission Accomplishment Parade to welcome home two contingents – United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei Ghanaian Battalion 3, and Ghana Medical Level II Plus Hospital 3 – from their one year peacekeeping tour of duty in Abyei.

3. Beyond academic qualifications, physical and medical fitness are required and applicants must be 5.6 meters tall for males and 5.2 meters tall
