A delegation comprising the Nigerian Army, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Defence Intelligence Agency, Nigerian Air Force, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, and representatives from several other African countries from the National Defence College Nigeria, paid a working visit to our facility in Tema on Friday, 13th March 2026.

The theme for the visit was “Cocoa Production and Economic Growth in Ghana: Lessons to Nigeria.” The delegation was met by the Deputy Managing Director – Operations, and a former US veteran, Mr. Osei Kwame Griffiths, and Mrs. Fatimah Amoadu, Deputy Managing Director – Finance & Administration.

The Leader of the Nigerian delegation, Rear Admiral Abdullahi Ahmed explained that the Nigerian National Defence College is a Research Institution, and the visit was to enable participants who are undergoing a training program to better understand and relate to the “drivers of economic growth” in countries such as Ghana aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry.

The group was taken through a presentation on the cocoa value chain and production processes of CPC.
In appreciation to the kind gesture by CPC hosting them, the delegation presented a commemorative medal to CPC.
The group was refreshed by our popular GoldenTree brand of chocolates.
The visit to CPC was made possible by the Ghana Armed Forces.
