Road Resurfacing

As part of HM Government of Gibraltar’s ongoing resurfacing works, the following road diversions will be in place:

• Waterport Wharf Road

Works will be carried out during the hours of 6.45pm to 11.00pm, up until Thursday 5th October (inclusive). Traffic diversions will be controlled by the use of temporary traffic signs and/or with operatives using stop and go hand held signals. Temporary advance diversions and road works signs will also be placed accordingly on the approach to the works.

Oversized vehicles will be required to make use of the next suitable roundabout and will not have access to this road on the stipulated times.

The Ministry of Transport also wishes to advise members of the general public that during this period, the following bus stops for Routes 1,3,8 & 9 will not be serviced:

Westbound
• Ocean Village
• Albert Risso House
• Gasa Swimming Pool

Eastbound
• Mid Harbour’s
• Bishop Canilla House
• Varyl Begg Estate
• Sir William Jackson Grove
• Waterport Road

Passengers are kindly advised to proceed to Market Place, Eurotowers or Midtown for the above mentioned routes.
The Government would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the public for any inconvenience that these works may cause to them.
