האירוע סיפק הזדמנות להבין את הזדמנויות ההשקעה בשוק הנדל"ן הישראלי, במיוחד במיקומים כמו ירושלים ותל אביב, אשר נחשבים לאטרקטיביים מאוד למשקיעים.

In the run-up to the Christmas break, we had the pleasure of hosting Savicell - a ground-breaking Israeli company who developed technology to detect cancer at very very early stage, before the person even shows any symptoms…all this from a simple blood test, with results in under 5 hours!!!

Their technology has already proved to save lives and is considered to be a game-changer in the global fight against cancer.

We would like to thank Eyal Davidovits of Savicell for the interesting presentation as well as the the Hon Minister for Health Gemma Arias-Vasquez for her opening words, and of course to everyone who participated.

Today, we come together to celebrate not just our shared history, but the vibrant culture and the indomitable spirit that defines this remarkable community.

As you gather with family and friends, let us reflect on the unity and resilience that have brought you through challenges and triumphs alike. Gibraltar is a beacon of strength, showcasing the power of community and the beauty of diversity. Each of you plays an essential role in shaping the future of this extraordinary place.

Gibrael Chamber has held a unique and emotional webinar on the topic of the Israeli hostages kidnapped and held by Hamas following the horrific attack on Israel on the 7th of October. We had the privilege of hearing from the honourable Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Tzipi Hotovely, who provided some insights into the Israeli government's stance and actions as well as her continuous efforts in to defend Israel and the British Jewish community against the hatred often being voiced on British media.

We were also privileged to hear from two brave mothers of Israeli hostages held by Hamas, who told us the heartbreaking stories about their loved ones. The first, Mrs Iris Haim, whose son Yotam Haim was kidnapped by Hamas on 7th October from his home in Kfar Azza. On 15 December, after 70 days in captivity, he managed to escape along with two other hostages, but they were mistaken for being terrorists and accidentally shot dead by the IDF, in one of the most tragic events of this war. The second, Mrs Meirav Leshem Gonen, mother of 23 years old Romi Gonen who was kidnapped and injured by Hamas on 7th October and is still being held in captivity...143 days already.

Both these stories did not leave a single dry eye in the audience.

We will keep on praying for the fast and safe return of all the hostages and hope that the war will end with a lasting solution that will bring peace to the Middle East, so that events like the 7th October will never happen again.

The Gibraltar-Israel Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to a unique webinar to hear the personal and emotional stories of mothers of Israeli hostages held by Hamas terrorists. We will also have the honour to get a brief update on the situation from the Israeli Ambassador to the UK- Mrs Tzipi Hotovely.
