Many people may not know that I do international service and have a school in the Gambia that I’ve been developing now for the past 7 years!
It’s called Xavier School 😊
So far ive created
A Library
School Uniform for all Students
6 New Classrooms
School Playground
New Toilets
School Office
Its a school i’m deeply passionate about.
This school is really close to my heart as the founder Simon Suta Mendy created this school off his own back (without Government funding) taking the local children off the streets and into the classroom to instil them with a first class education.
The school lacks resources however teaches over 280 local children aged between 3-12, giving them the best start in life! Developing the school was something i did simply because it needed to be done.
For our latest project it was so wonderful to have our colleagues, partners and friends chip in and contribute!
Thank you to many partners including and for taking recent trips to visit my school. All those that are interested, please feel free to visit 😊
Im excited to extend opportunities to contribute going forward to all - as together we can certainly do MORE !
The new project was to create a new watering well so that the Year 6 students and teachers wouldn’t have to travel to fetch water every morning for sanitation and for the children to drink.
Im so pleased to share that with all the donations received, the watering well is now in its final stages - will share soon! ☺️

Success is a mindset that we can all achieve!
This is a Unique and Empowering Leadership Development programme connecting some of the MOVERS and SHAKERS in Brum to our young people and ensuring they have visible relatable role models.
Seeing and hearing real AUTHENTIC journeys into success is key ! The road towards success isn’t a straight one … its full of twists and turns that can reveal key LEARNING along the way which is PRICELESS!! 🙌🏽if we could share some of the signs to help navigate through the roadmap with our young people just imagine what inspiring destination it could lead them to… 💫

What an EMPOWERING an UNFORGETTABLE evening indeed! 💃🏽
I’d like to THANK everyone for coming out last Friday! You made it truly special 🙏🏽❤️ nothing but good vibez and powerful partnership!
I couldn’t think of a better way to spend our 10 year AVision Anniversary other than with our services users, colleagues, partnership organisations and our stakeholders.
Everyone stepped out looking incredible 🔥
There were so many highlights of the evening for me that i will never forget from our amazing host our inspirational service users to our amazing provider networks to ‘s phenomenal spoken word to to hearing the surprising news from our evaluators stating that our AVision programme ‘BEST’ should be rolled out nationally!
It was great to hear the amazing work we’re ALL doing in the sector and I believe it should be celebrated. Its rare that you ever hear the words “Criminal Justice” and “Success” in the same sentence and thats exactly what we showcased!
Partnership is important, we can’t do it alone. Really hope the evening enabled everyone there to extend their networks with likeminded individuals that are making a difference and to create even more powerful partnerships.
With your support hopefully this is something we can carry on!

£160,784 Saving!
NUMBERS. DO. NOT. LIE!!!!
AVision has engaged with 68 clients over the last twelve months, and none have been convicted of a violent crime during that period. This represents savings of £160,785 for criminal justice agencies, lost output, and victim impact.
I AM SO ECSTATIC to finally share some statistics about performance and successes on our BEST programme 🎉🎉🎉
In the last 12 months and in the middle of a pandemic...
• 98.5% of service users HAVE NOT been convicted since starting BEST!
• NONE of our service users have been convicted of a violent crime since starting BEST!
• 28 service users have been supported into Employment and Entrepreneurship since starting B.E.S.T - surpassing our 24-month employment target!
• 90 days on average to start employment with the shortest being 1 month!

We work so hard at AVision to produce consistent RESULTS on our project and it's such an honour to them flourish within the world of work.
We initially found Kyle an opportunity in construction however after 7 months he wanted to explore roles with hospitality.
So pleased to share that Kyle has now started his new role as a BARISTA !

We are proud to present another success story, again it's been a difficult journey but we certainly got there!
Idrees came on to our BEST project in September 2020 and within two months he gained sustainable employment.
He was supported with:

Despite the many restrictions Idrees had, we were able to navigate through each and every challenge...
