Our work continues even though our founder is back in the U.K. So our Ambassadors have been checking work carried out at Busumbala school on repainting part of the school building and repainting our Charity Logo. Almost a full day to get all the different paints and supplies. The artist is amazing 3 days to complete this! One more wall to finish. ❤️

Safely back in the U.K. after a very busy Gambian visit. Families and projects visited, basic first aid trained, rice distributed. New projects started. Thank you to everyone who supports us through donations and sponsorship. A huge thank you to Fatima and Kemo our ambassadors 👏 We have a few new ideas to develop our work further and will be posting more information soon. Now for a few days rest, and finalise all the charity admin that is necessary for these trips ❤️

Last sunset for this amazing trip. It’s been hard work and we’ve seen our families and projects, with the help of with our incredible Ambassadors. We have developed more links for the Health side of our charities work. Gambia we will be back! 🙏

We returned to Abuko Health Clinic. We donated a blood pressure machine, blood sugar test kit and an oximeter. The Dr in charge and the senior nurse just couldn’t believe it! Their blood sugar test kit has been broken for many weeks! This is a basic requirement of any clinic. They also only have 1 blood pressure machine so patients have to wait a long time to be checked. These items are very cheap in the UK and we plan to fundraise to purchase more and send to the clinic in the next few months. They are life saving kits! ❤️

Today we agreed a pilot scheme with the Sami Nursing Institute to create a Home Health Visit check for some of our sponsored families. The checks will be made by the CEO a qualified A&E nurse and other medical staff from the institute. Kemo and Fatima will accompany the team on their twice yearly visits. The Health element of the Winged Dreams Charity is now developing thanks to a very generous sponsor! 🙏❤️

Wow what an amazing day… a huge thank you to the Thomas family for donating money to buy tools and equipment for the John Pickering school Motor Mechanic project in Memory of the late Pete Thomas. Pete was a great car enthusiast. The Vice principle and teacher just couldn’t believe what was purchased in Pete’s memory and donated to the project. Life changing! All their dreams came true! ❤️🙏 # # #

Sharing winged dreams rice in one of the poorest areas of Serekunda. The families each bring out a bowl and Fatima carefully shares it between the families. Prayers are then said in thanks. There is so much excitement as they will all eat tonight. Thank you to everyone who supports us it really does change lives here in Gambia ❤️
