The bi-annual national Congress is a constitutional requirement of the Association and is an opportunity for members to exercise their franchise but as well to put the activity and financial reports to scrutiny as a form of a accountability process.

GAHA NATIONAL CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW AND CONGRESS UNDERWAY AT THE The President's International Award,the Gambia
The members to f the Alumni Association has together converge to review if legal documents and discuss on the adaption of the global trends by amending our constitution to accommodate all Award holders who when through the Award program and received their awards.
After about 8 hours of debate and discussion, Finally members had adopted the amended constitution to now call the association "Gambia Award Holders Association (G-AHA)"
Moving forward the association will now subscribe to the Global Award Alumni Network

PUBLIC NOTICE- GAHA NATIONAL CONGRESS
Members of Gambia Gaha ,Gold Award Holders Association-The Gambia are hereby inform and notified of upcoming National Congress scheduled for the 10th and 11th May, 2024.
The National Congress is statuary obligation of to allow members to exercise their franchise through a democratic space to review, amend or adopt new laws, framework and policies that will drive the association activities in the future thus we encourage every member to come out and participate in the process.
The criteria for contestants and voters eligibility as per Article 5 of the Constitution is hereby publish on the attached below.

The GAHA association is on the verge of transitioning to the Global Award Alumni Network of the Award to accommodate all Award Holders in the Gambia to be part of the Gold Award Holders Association-The Gambia
The transition from GAHA TO AHA will require a border consultation and engagement with members and participants therein lead the current executive to regional and National Congress 2024.

GOLD AWARDING CEREMONY 2023 IN GAMBIA
The President's International Award,the Gambia Yesterday 26 the September Awarded 1650 Award participants at Gold Level.
The event which presided over by the H.E President Barrow,Chief patron of Award program in Gambia, The deputy British high commission in Gambia and other signatories from the public and provide sector.
The Gambia Gaha wish to congratulate all the Awardees and use this opportunity to welcome all to Gold Award Holders Association-The Gambia

Are you a student, an awardee or participant?
Registration is open for The 2nd Edition of the National Trial Expedition (NaTES) Summer Camp 2023 by The Gold Award Holders Association-The Gambia in collaboration with The President's International Award,the Gambia and Ministry of Youth & Sports.
Forms are available at GAHA Office at PIA Headquarter in Bakau for the participants in West Coast Region and Kanifing Municipal and those in the Rural Areas can contact their Regional and Teacher Coordinators for registration.
The year event is scheduled on 29th August to 2nd September 2023
