【徐冰：科藝普教育活動系列一】

《窗外是藍星》是一部於太空拍攝的實景電影，由神舟十三號航天員親身執鏡，真實記錄他們在天宮空間站的駐留任務與歷程。
本場特設映後分享，由香港太空館助理館長葉浩揚先生主講，為觀眾講解於空間站內進行的科學實驗，展示國家航天事業的最新突破與成就。分享將以粵語進行。

自2024年起，文化體育及旅遊局委任徐冰為香港「文化推廣大使」，任期為五年，於任內肩負起為康文署策劃香港大型藝術項目的重任，致力培育年輕藝術人才，並推動香港文化藝術的發展與國際交流。繼「徐冰在香港：英文方塊字書法」藝術計劃後，徐冰將推出第二個以「太空藝術」為主題的重要藝術項目。為配合該項目，藝術推廣辦事處將聯同香港太空館攜手策劃一系列融合科技與藝術的普及教育活動，藉此深化公眾對科學與藝術交滙的認識與興趣。

Shenzhou 13 is a documentary filmed in space, with footage captured by Shenzhou 13 astronauts during their orbital mission aboard the Tiangong Space Station.
A post-screening sharing session will be conducted by Mr IP Ho-yeung, Brian, Assistant Curator of the Hong Kong Space Museum. He will offer insights into the scientific experiments carried out on the Station and highlight China's most recent achievements in space exploration. The session will be conducted in Cantonese.

In 2024, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau appointed Xu Bing as Hong Kong's Ambassador for Cultural Promotion for a five-year term. During this tenure, he plays a significant role in initiating a series of large-scale art projects for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department in Hong Kong, nurturing young artistic talent, and fostering cultural development and exchange. Following the success of "Xu Bing in Hong Kong: Square Word Calligraphy", Xu Bing will introduce a second art project about "Space Art". To support this initiative, the Art Promotion Office will collaborate with the Hong Kong Space Museum to co-organise a series of science-art education programmes designed to deepen public understanding and interest in the intersection of science and art.

【Xu Bing: Science-Art Education Programme Series 1】
Lecture │ Look Up & Look Down: Cosmos & Humanity

Dr SO Chu-wing, Curator of the Hong Kong Space Museum, will give the first talk in the series, encouraging audience to “look up” at the wonders of the sky while sharing stories of how human beings “look down” at our planet from space. This lecture will also explore the profound relationship between humanity and the cosmos, fostering appreciation of the sky and inspiring artistic creativity.

Three layered stamps are placed around the corners of Oi!. Follow the hints to locate each stamp. Apply them layer by layer to reveal a cityscape emerging on paper!

【Report! Discover the Giant Round Glasses!】

Recently, while passing by Oi!, have you noticed a pair of giant glasses on the wall of Oi! Glassie? This is part of an exhibition by artist Xu Bing! Oi! Glassie has been transformed into a “Square Word Calligraphy Classroom on the Move”, providing visitors with a unique and artistic journey with words!

Xu Bing’s "Square Word Calligraphy" blends Chinese calligraphy with English letters to create a new writing system that bridges cultural differences. The exhibition features a special writing space and interactive devices, allowing visitors to learn while having fun. Come join us and participate in this special calligraphy class!

[The Square Word Calligraphy for “Mooncake”? ]

“Xu Bing in Hong Kong: Eying East, Wondering West — Square Word Calligraphy Classroom on the Move” is now being exhibited at the Oilstreet Artspace. For this exhibition, Xu Bing has specially created a series of “Hong Kong edition” Square Word Calligraphy, featuring selected Kongish, loanwords, Cantonese idioms and proverbs to showcase Hong Kong’s unique cultural fusion and the rich connotations of Cantonese. Among them is the seasonal delicacy for the Mid-Autumn Festival: the mooncake!

Be sure to take a selfie 📸 when you visit the exhibition. You’re welcome to include props🎭 specially designed for the Mid-Autumn Festival in your pictures to elevate the festive spirit and share the joy with us!

Join us on a distinctive journey exploring Xu Bing’s Square Word Calligraphy!

Xu Bing’s “Square Word Calligraphy Classroom” has been moved to the Oil Street Art Space (Oi!) after being displayed at Hong Kong Museum of Art! Oi! Glassie has been transformed into an interactive classroom, inviting the audience to learn this unique writing system devised by the artist, which blends Chinese and Western cultures through hands-on writing activities and an interactive programme.
