係最後一次嘅藝術工作坊，我地邀請小朋友係T-shirt上面寫上中文同尼泊爾文嘅祝福語🥰 更請佢地輪流出黎做「小小教師」👩🏻‍🏫，親自教其他小朋友寫法，鼓勵佢地向別人分享自己所知。

大家又估唔估到邊句係香港小朋友寫嘅，邊句係尼泊爾小朋友寫嘅？😛

［Online Exhibition— T-shirt with blessings ]

In the last workshop, we invited children to write the words of blessings in Chinese and Nepalese.🥰 Through having children to teach each other their languages, we wish to encourage them to share about their cultures actively. 👩🏻‍🏫

Can you guess which is written by Hong Kong children and which by Nepalese children? 😛

唔知大家仲記唔記得喺之前其中一次嘅workshop入面，我哋曾經邀請過小朋友一齊畫一幅叫《共融圖》嘅大型畫作呢？😚

喺《共融圖》入面，小朋友畫咗佢地對一個共融社會嘅美好想像🌈當中包括唔同群體一同慶祝唔同國家節日嘅景象：

✨排燈節 (圖二): 排燈節係印度入面嘅四大節日之一🌟 喺呢日入面，家家戶戶都會將圖二嘅花花圖案放喺屋企門口，並點燈慶祝，以象徵以光明戰勝黑暗嘅日子～☺️

✨中秋節(圖三): 講到香港節日，又點少得中秋節呢😚喺畫上面，小朋友畫咗自己同朋友挽燈籠嘅畫面，以及紫色嘅指膜象徵友誼👧🏻👧🏻

除咗排燈節同中秋節外，你仲諗唔諗到其他香港同尼泊爾嘅節日呢😆留言話比我地知啦！👇🏻

Do you still remember that there’s this big painting called The Painting of Social Harmony that was created by children months ago?😚

On the painting, children have drawn their imagination of a harmonious society🌈 which includes different communities celebrating festivals originated from different countries:

✨Diwali (Pic 2): Diwali is one of the four important festivals in India🌟During Diwali, families in India place the flower pattern (depicted in Pic 2) in front of their homes. Normally, diya will be lighted, symbolising the victory of light over darkness☺️

✨Mid-Autumn Festival (Pic 3): when it comes to local festivals, how could we not talk about Mid-Autumn Festival?😚 On the painting, children have painted a picture of them playing traditional lanterns with their friends, as well as some purple fingerprints which symbolise their friendship👧🏻👧🏻

Apart from Diwali and Mid-Autumn Festival, could you think of any festivals celebrated in Hong Kong and Nepal too? 😆 Tell us below!👇🏻

[音樂搖鼓—香港/尼泊爾印象🇭🇰🇳🇵］

係第二節音樂工作坊，我地同小朋友一齊製作左音樂搖鼓，並邀請小朋友係搖鼓嘅兩面分別畫上對香港同尼泊爾嘅印象😆了解下小朋友點睇呢兩個地方～～～

作品一：尼泊爾印象—雪山山脈
講起尼泊爾，唔少人都會即刻諗起佢地雪山。唔知小朋友係上面畫嘅知兩座山，會唔會有一座就係珠穆朗馬蜂呢？🤣

作品二： 尼泊爾印象—國旗和美食
尼泊爾國旗上印有代表國家與日月共長久嘅月亮🌙同太陽☀️。配上尼泊爾嘅美食momo同Daal Bhat Tarkari，睇落好吸引🤩 （By Prawistee)

作品三：香港印象—維港日落
日落西下，維港上有軍綠色的天星小輪和粉紅色的中華白海豚🐬。（By Nancy)

As we know that not everyone is available to visit our exhibition, we are going to share some of the artwork with all of you here!🥳

[Hand Drum—About Hong Kong & Nepal 🇭🇰🇳🇵]

Through the making of hand drum in the Music Workshop, we invited children to draw their impressions on these two places, and exchange their thoughts in order to enhance their knowledge on the two cultures.😆

Artwork 1: Nepal—Snow Mountain, Snow Mountain
When we talk about Nepal, most of the children knew about its mountains, which is the signature of Nepal. Guess they’re talking about the Himalayas? 🤣（By David)

Artwork 2: Nepal—National Flag and Delicacy
The national flag of Nepal implies her coexistence with the moon🌙 and sun☀️. Prawistee also drew some famous dishes of Nepal, including momo and daal bhat tarkari (lentil soup, rice and vegetables curry). (By Prawistee)

Artwork 3—Hong Kong—Sunset at the Victoria Harbour
During sunset, the star ferry in dark green and the pink dolphins 🐬 are what in Nancy’s mind. （By Nancy)

Artwork 4: Hong Kong—Tall Buildings and Nature
In the eyes of children, Hong Kong is a place where nature and city coexist. There are trees, flowers🌷, hills, and buildings. (By Nushang)

【活動尾聲——共融藝術日】
話咁快就嚟到活動嘅尾聲了🥺
喺今次嘅藝術共融日入面，為咗讓小朋友更理解大家嘅文化，我地邀請咗佢地教大家自己母語入面嘅祝頌語💛 除此之外，我地仲邀請咗小朋友喺T-shirt上面畫低佢喺呢一連串活動入面學習到嘅野，以及對香港同尼泊爾嘅想像😚最後讓小朋友着上自己創作嘅T-shirt行Catwalk展示作品！🥰
多謝咁多位小朋友同導師嘅積極參與，好開心認識到你地每一個，令呢趟旅程咁開心💛

Time flies and it’s finally the end of the programme🥺
During the Art Workshop, we have invited children to teach other the words of blessings in their language💛 Also, children are encouraged to draw the things they’ve learnt throughout the programme and their imagination of both Hong Kong and Nepal onto the T-shirt😚 Last but not least, we’ve held a catwalk show for children to showcase their art pieces!🥰 Thank you every child and tutors who have participated in the programme. We are so glad to have known every single one of you who made this journey so remarkable! 💛

【上環街道導賞團🌆】

生活係香港嘅我地，又對香港嘅歷史同文化了解幾多呢？🤔 為左加深下一代對本地文化嘅認識，我地前個星期六帶左一班本地同少數族裔小朋友去左上環社區，參觀左西港城、古董街、樓梯街同必列啫士街街市等歷史古蹟同特色街道😆沿路更加同小朋友介紹左不同街招嘅種類同字體，俾佢地多一個生動有趣嘅方式學中文字😌 唔少小朋友都係第一次去上環，超級興奮呢🤣🤣🤣 認識社區就是建立歸屬感的第一步～～

Even though we are living in Hong Kong, how well do you know about our history and culture? 🤔 Two weeks ago, we have organised a cultural tour to Sheung Wan with the aim of enhancing children’s understanding of local culture. We visited two cultural heritages, including Western Market and Bridges Street Market!😆 Apart from that, hoping children to learn Chinese in a more interesting way, we have also introduced to children some street signs which are the classic representations of traditional Chinese calligraphy😌 Many of the children were very excited as it was their first time to visit Sheung Wan!

話明係storytelling day, 又點可以無圖書呢？🤣 多謝 Rolling Books 協助籌集二手童圖再轉贈俾我地！📚 齊齊帶返屋企慢慢睇🥳

【節慶故事日 Storytelling Day🧚🏼‍♂️】
講到傳統文化，又點可以少得傳統節日呢！我地嘅第四個活動係故事日🥳喺呢日入面，我地同小朋友以紙牌嘅形式講咗農曆新年同中秋節嘅由來，並介紹咗尼泊爾嘅灑紅節同排燈節，小朋友都好雀躍！😍除此之外，我地仲參照咗清明上河圖，一齊畫咗幅我地嘅共融圖，成果將會喺未來嘅展覽展示，大家記得密切留意呀！😚💛

When it comes to culture, traditional festivals and customs are definitely something that shouldn’t be missed! 🥳 On Storytelling Day which was put forth activity, we have introduced children the origins of different festivals, such as Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Holi Festival and Diwali, through the use of cardboards. Children were so excited about it!😍 Apart from that, taking reference from the artwork Along the River During the Qingming Festival, we have created our own version of the art piece, The Painting of Harmony! The painting will be displayed in our upcoming exhibition. Do stay tuned to our updates! 😚💛

板球同樂日🏏️

趁陽光普照，係時候去下公園草地玩下啦🌱☀️ 第三次活動係野餐日，我地同左成班小朋友去左草地玩各種集體遊戲，更加請左兩位尼泊爾哥哥教小朋友玩佢地常玩嘅板球🏏️。由揮拍、接球、拋球到計分比賽，小朋友都好快就掌握左😛 大家學識左板球之後，本地同尼泊爾小朋友就可以有共同喜好，更多機會一齊玩😆

Let’s have picnic on a sunny day!🌱☀️ Picnic day was our third activity. We played different games with the kids and invited two Nepalese tutors to teach us how to play cricket 🏏. The children learned the game so quickly and we even did a match! After learning cricket, hopefully there are more opportunities for the local and Nepalese kids playing cricket together in the future!😆
