Ciao a tutti! 🇮🇹 Calling all Italian learners!
The Italian Library in Central is hosting an Italian language exchange. Want to meet others who are also learning Italian? We’ll be grouping by level, so you’ll definitely find the right fit for conversation. A Italian native speaker will be there to help out too!

We also have a special guest: who passed the PLIDA B2 exam & speaks 15 languages!

Time: 18/4/2026 (Saturday) 3–4 PM
Location: Italian Library (inside PMQ, Central)

Thank you all who organised and joined the third edition of the European Literature Night in Hong Kong! 🇪🇺🇭🇰

Once again, it was a fantastic event and a magical night! We were delighted to host the Italian book reading: "The Lake's Water is Never Sweet" by Giulia Caminito.

Thank you to our wonderful performer, Elizabeth Chung , for bringing the story to life, and a special thanks to the Italian Cultural Institute in HK for hosting and organising.

Who’s ready for a summer of suspense? 📖☀️ 🚓  The Mediterranean Noir "Primo Colpo" has landed in Hong Kong! Copies are now available for loan and sale at the library  📚

"Primo Colpo" is Jordan Casarini's debut novel. Jordan was born in the Reggio Emilia province in Emilia Romagna, Italy, and, while working full-time, was motivated and inspired by his passion for literaure to write "Primo Colpo".

"Primo Colpo" was a finalist in the Alberto Tedeschi Award by Il Giallo Mondadori in 2023 and was printed by the publishing house Affiori in 2025.

Follow policeman Brasi and his "team" as the head towards the Romagna Riviera to solve an improbable case!
