【Dunhuang Mural Fashion Show 👚】Meet the Style Icons of the Tang Dynasty 😲

When we talk about Dunhuang murals, people often think of the solemn mural paintings of Sutra Tableaux and Buddha statues 🎨✨, but in fact, within these paintings, you can also find a ‘Fashion Lookbook’ of the Tang dynasty! 🔥

From hairstyles and make-up to fabric prints, every detail reflects the hottest fashion trends of that time. Let's see how the Tang people mastered the art of mix & match 👇

👶 Toddler Clothing | Children wore their hair in a knob-shaped bun tied with red ribbon 🎀, dressed in a Han-style pouch top with quatrefoil floral motifs against a red ground, paired with ankle-high red leather boots from the Western Regions 👢, adding an exotic touch! A perfect ‘Han + Western Regions’ crossover look. It turns out crossover fashion has been trending for more than a thousand years!
