🤜🤛 More than 200 leaders gathered in Skopje for the 5th anniversary edition of — a platform for conversations on leadership, resilience, and the future of work.
A highlight this year was the contribution of the International Labour Organization (ILO), supporting the event through the EU-funded project “Towards a Safe and Healthy Working Environment in North Macedonia.”
As a dedicated track partner for “Mind, Powered by ILO,” the organization helped drive critical discussions on mental health, psychological safety, and workplace well-being.
💡 Through insights shared by ILO National Project Coordinator Milan Petkovski, the message was clear: safe, healthy, and people-centered workplaces are not optional—they are essential for sustainable growth and business success.

If adopted, the draft Convention and draft Recommendation would be the first of their kind to address this rapidly evolving area in the world of work.

🔔 Two new online training courses on ⚖️ Equal Remuneration at the ITCILO (International Training Centre of the ILO)
🤲 COURSE “Achieving Equal Pay: ILO Policy Framework and Practical Approaches”
4-week online course (60 hs eLearning). This course aims to support policymakers by providing strategies and tools to advocate for closing the gender pay gap. The course features a selection of international examples, good practices and existing laws successfully implemented at supranational , national or local levels. It aims to provide inspiration and practical guidance on how to advance this issue, drawing from the analysis of case studies and lessons learned.

COURSE "💻The ILO approach to Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation for Equal Pay”
4-week online course (60 hs eLearning). On May 28, the ILO National Coordinator in Georgia joined the launch of the report “Towards Developing a Roadmap for Just Transition to a Resilient and Carbon-Neutral System in Georgia” in Tbilisi
Organized by UNECE in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and UN agencies, the event brought together key stakeholders—from government and international organizations to the private sector and civil society 🤝
💡 The discussion highlighted Georgia’s path toward a carbon-neutral and resilient future, focusing on:

📢 Conference on Digital Labour Inspection in Kosovo 💻
The Central Labour Inspectorate of Kosovo, with technical support from the Labour Organization (ILO) and funding from the Government of Sweden, successfully hosted a high-level conference presenting the results of the pilot phase of the Electronic Case Management System.
✨ Over just 4 months, more than 1,000 inspection cases were processed electronically — showcasing the system’s strong potential to improve:
✅ Planning
✅ Monitoring
✅ Reporting
✅ Accountability
✅ Overall service delivery
🤝 The event brought together representatives from government institutions, social partners, and key stakeholders, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing digital transformation in line with international labour standards 🌍.
💬 Key priorities highlighted by speakers included:

➡️Strengthening inter-institutional cooperation & data exchange
➡️Promoting evidence-based inspection practices for greater transparency
📊 Participants reviewed pilot results, shared valuable lessons learned, and agreed on next steps toward making electronic inspections the standard model for labour inspection in Kosovo.

🌱 📲 The green and digital transitions are reshaping jobs, skills, working conditions and enterprises across Europe and Central Asia.
How can countries ensure that these transformations are fair, inclusive and employment-centred?
🤝 A new ILO brief shows that social dialogue and tripartism are essential for anticipating change, building consensus and shaping policies that support both workers and enterprises.
