The Triple Theoretical Lens & Popular Culture: Media Studies & Digital Ethnography 🔵⚫
Documenting the transformation of frontier an OKL Street Library smartastickids club, Reni, represents their junior high school in the regional Folklore Storytelling Competition for the 81st Indonesian Independence Day 2026. Integrating Media Studies, Digital Ethnography, and Popular Culture, this performance critically reclaims cultural narrative from passive ceremonial consumption (Jean Baudrillard’s Simulacra) into an active exercise of self-development, radical confidence, and expressive courage. Cultivated through our structured Public Speaking and personal development class, Reni’s stage presence operationalizes Hannah Arendt’s Vita Activa, converting educational marginality into bold, public-sphere articulation. Under Bruno Latour’s Actor-Network Theory (ANT), each spoken word, vocal inflection, confident, and internalized folklore element functions as a sovereign node of resistance against educational disparity, driving measurable progress for SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) across Indonesian border regions.
The Mission: Implementation of Strategic Knowledge.
