The world is not facing small challenges — and no country or organization can solve them alone.
SDG 17 reminds us that sustainable development can only happen through partnership: governments, the private sector, civil society, and communities working together.
At UID, we believe collaboration is how impact begins.
Because development is not about who moves fastest, but about ensuring no one is left behind.
Let’s partner for impact.

Did you know?
The facts are a wake-up call for our collective consciousness:
🌳 We lose 10 million hectares of forest annually—larger than the size of Iceland.
🛡️ Biodiversity is our shield; healthy ecosystems prevent pathogens from spreading rapidly.
🦋 One million species are currently at risk of extinction, threatening the very web of life.
At United In Diversity (UID), we believe that the health of our planet reflects our "interior condition" as leaders and citizens. To heal the Earth, we must first shift our awareness from taking to regenerating.
This Mother Earth Day, let’s stop just "knowing" and start "sensing" what the planet needs from us.

A single spark can start a fire, but a community can sustain the light." ✨
On March 14, UID gathered to honor the journey of our Youth Action Forum (YAF) 5.0 Fellows. For 4 months, these 50 leaders have dived deep into themselves and their communities, moving from Ego-system to Eco-system awareness.
The result? 50 heartfelt social innovation prototypes that prove when youth are given the tools of Systems Thinking, they don't just see problems—mere barriers—they see opportunities for transformation.
The forum has ended, but the community has just begun. Let’s keep weaving the future, one conscious step at a time. Power Whoosh!

What if moving forward isn’t about doing more, but releasing what’s holding you back?
Real transformation begins the moment we loosen our grip
on the identities that no longer serve us.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Some journeys are meant to be taken together.

As journeys unfold, a few key lessons stand out:
- Progress accelerates when trust is treated as infrastructure—investing in relationships, creating safe spaces for hard conversations, and rebuilding cooperation across unlikely allies.
- Change endures when local stewardship leads—especially when women, youth, and coastal communities gain voice and agency in shaping protection and livelihoods.
- Breakthroughs begin small—through prototyping and learning-by-doing, turning big ambitions into practical actions that grow stronger over time.

Raden Ajeng Kartini: The Intervener of Our Future ✨
More than a century ago, Kartini wrote from her heart about a future she could only sense. Today, on April 21, 2026, we ask ourselves: How much of that "emerging future" have we truly manifested?
At United In Diversity (UID) Foundation, we believe that Kartini’s legacy is not just a piece of history—it is a living system of values. True empowerment for women today must transcend theory and become a lived experience through:
🌱 The Agency to Create: Ensuring education leads to real leadership and professional freedom.
🛡️ Psychological Safety: Building a society where women are safe to speak, safe to work, and safe to lead.
🏥 Dignified Healthcare: Advocating for physical and mental health access that is compassionate and, above all, non-judgmental.
The success of our national transformation depends on the "interior conditions" of our leaders. By honoring Kartini, we commit to shifting our awareness and our systems toward a more inclusive and equitable Indonesia.
Happy Kartini Day 2026.

1 in 10 people. That’s 808 million humans. And the number just got bigger
Last year, the international poverty line was updated to $3.00 per day (up from $2.15). Suddenly, millions more people were counted in the statistics—not because they got poorer, but because we finally admitted how much it actually costs to survive.
Here is the reality check for 2026:
🍽️ Hunger is back to levels we haven't seen since 2005.
📈 Food prices are spiking faster than wages.
🛡️ 3.8 billion people have zero social protection. No safety net. No unemployment check. Nothing.
We keep saying "Leave No One Behind," but right now, the clock is ticking, and we are running out of time. By 2030, if we don't change course, almost 9% of the world will still be living in extreme poverty.
But here is the good news:
We know what works.
- Governments creating jobs.
- Businesses choosing inclusion over greed.
- Science provides clean water and sanitation.
- You—showing up, voting, and speaking out.
The Question:
Poverty isn't just about money. It’s about dignity. It’s about opportunity.
So today, we ask you: What is one thing you wish someone had invested in you when you were starting out? (Literacy? Healthcare? A fair wage?)
Drop your answer in the comments. Let’s start a conversation. 👇

To commemorate International Women’s Day on 8 March, we aren’t just celebrating—we are rallying for change.
Despite global progress, the reality remains: women hold only 64% of the legal rights that men do worldwide. From the workplace to personal safety and retirement, the law systematically disadvantages women in every corner of the globe.
This year’s theme, “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls,” is a direct challenge to the status quo. At United In Diversity (UID) Foundation, we stand with those who dismantle discriminatory laws and fight the culture of impunity.
⚖️ Justice should not be a privilege; it must be the standard.
Let’s move beyond paper promises and drive real, enforceable change.

From 28 February to 2 March 2026, the United In Diversity (UID) Foundation, alongside our esteemed partners, including the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Centre, Australian National University, EUNOIA EDIHUB, POLITEKNIK Gajah Tunggal, and the Indonesia-Australia Business Council, successfully hosted Indonesia’s Higher Education Transformation 2026 Design Summit.
Embodying the spirit of Gotong Royong, the summit moved from the UID Learning Hub to Universitas Paramadina and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, creating a unique space for over 100 rectors and global experts to co-create a future-ready academic roadmap.
The collaboration was further bolstered by the presence of Prof. Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, signaling a powerful alignment between academic innovation and national policy.
As we connect local wisdom with global excellence toward Golden Indonesia 2045, the summit agreed on six transformative pillars—from AI Upskilling and Digital Transformation to Net Zero Campus Sustainability. In the coming weeks, 30 international and national experts will convene to translate these priorities into reality through intensive workshops and dialogues. By building leadership and shared vision, UID remains committed to making our higher education system the heartbeat of a thriving, inclusive nation.
