Our current system of Governance is Representative Democracy, whereby citizens elect individuals who should make decisions on our behalf on the back of election promises, promises that never materialise. We in Direct Democracy Ireland will introduce a political system of Governance in order to return power where it rightfully belongs, with we the People, so all citizens of our nation have an equal say in how the future of our country is forged.
