That’s why the team at Yad L’Olim recently met with the leadership of Bituach Leumi to strengthen our close working relationship and clarify important policies affecting Olim.

NEW UNIT TO HELP LONE SOLDIERS
Thank you to Aliyah Minister Ofir Sofer for establishing the Unit for Enhancing Support and Assistance for Olim Serving in the IDF in the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.
This new unit, voted on and approved at this morning’s government meeting, will provide a comprehensive support system for Olim before, during, and after their military service.
The unit will also assist the families of soldiers living outside of Israel with information and guidance.
Yad L’Olim will be in constant communication with this new unit as we help lone soldiers and Olim soldiers with their draft, service, and post service re-entry into civilian life.
