নিউ ক্যাপিটাল কমপ্লেক্স থানা খেজুরবাগান গোয়ালাবস্তিতে একটি সচেতনতামূলক কর্মসূচি ও প্রয়াস সভা পরিচালনা করেন। মাদকের অপব্যবহার এবং অন্যান্য সামাজিক সমস্যা নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন। অতিরিক্ত এসপি (ইউ) পশ্চিম, আইএলএস হাসপাতালের ডাক্তার, ওসি এনসিসি পিএস, রূপায়ণ ফাউন্ডেশন মাদক পুনর্বাসন কেন্দ্রের সমন্বয়কারী এবং অন্যান্যরা মাদকের ভয়াবহতা সম্পর্কে তাদের বক্তব্য রাখেন। প্রায় ৩০০ জন স্থানীয়রা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এই কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে গোয়ালাবস্তি এলাকায় আমাদের মাদকবিরোধী অভিযানে ইতিবাচক ও কার্যকর প্রভাব পড়েছে।
