A paper plate manufacturing unit, successfully run by SHG women after securing a loan under the TULM scheme, is operating in Ward No. 4 of Melaghar Municipal Council under TULM CMMU.

On the final day, the internship students from Women’s College and Ramthakur College successfully completed their internship journey with sincerity and dedication. During their tenure, they actively visited various TULM Self-Help Groups (SHGs), examined SHG records, and conducted visits to the City Livelihood Centre (CLC) and shelter houses under TULM CMMU Agartala Through these experiences, they gained valuable knowledge and insights into women’s empowerment.

The 7th State Level Monitoring Committee (SLMC) Meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Milind Ramteke, IAS, Secretary, UDD, to review the progress of the PMSVANidhi Scheme across Tripura. The meeting was initiated by the Member Convenor, SLMC, Sri Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, Mission Director – PMSVANidhi, TULM.

The meeting was conducted in both offline and online modes. The DM & Collector, West Tripura, along with esteemed dignitaries from SLBC, RD Department, Finance Department, RBI, SIDBI, Municipal Corporation, Banks, State Mission Manager and Team TULM attended the meeting in person. Meanwhile, DM & Collectors of seven districts, CEOs/EOs of ULBs alon with CMMs/COs, BDOs of Blocks, and LDMs participated through the virtual platform.

During the meeting, the Chairman, SLMC (Secretary, UDD), provided valuable guidance and suggested several proactive measures and best practices for strengthening and uplifting the implementation of the PMSVANidhi Scheme across the State.
