“Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence” — the theme of this year’s Silver Jubilee Summer Camp — resonated beautifully through the vibrant inauguration assembly conducted by Grade VIII B at Delhi Public School Agra. The programme reflected the remarkable journey of the Summer Camp through the years, celebrating its evolution from the simplicity of the Night Camp to the spirited essence of Kalrav and finally to the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The ceremony commenced with the garlanding of Goddess Saraswati Ji and sacred mantrochcharan, creating an atmosphere of positivity and reverence, followed by a graceful semi-classical prayer dance that added elegance to the celebration.
The assembly further showcased the harmonious blend of heritage and modernity through the presentation “Roots of Our Heritage” and an evocative poetic narration by the students of Grade VII, depicting the transformation of the Summer Camp across different phases. A spirited choir performance celebrating aspiration, determination, and achievement infused the gathering with enthusiasm and inspiration. Aligned with the vision of CBSE and NEP 2020, this year’s Summer Camp places special emphasis on vocational learning, experiential education, and skill-based enrichment, encouraging students to emerge as creative, confident, and future-ready learners.
