Empowering Girls Through Self-Defense πŸ’ͺ✨

A 5-day Self-Defense Workshop was conducted at Radha Ballabh Playground by Manish Sharma Sir, Manish Shah Sir, and Sunil Sharma Sir, where around 100 girls from Ek Pahel Pathshala and Shiksha volunteers actively participated.

The workshop focused on practical self-defense techniques including lathi, basic weapon handling, and situational awareness, helping girls build confidence, strength, and the ability to protect themselves.

At Ek Pahel, we strongly believe that self-defense is not just a skill, but a necessity for every girl β€” empowering them to feel safe, independent, and fearless. 🌱

We sincerely thank all the trainers for their efforts in making this initiative impactful and meaningful. πŸ’™

On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, students of Ek Pahel Pathshala expressed their creativity and respect through beautiful posters and paintings dedicated to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

Their artwork reflected the values of equality, education, and justice that Babasaheb stood for. It was inspiring to see young minds learning about his legacy and honoring his contributions in such a meaningful way.

🌸 Breaking the Silence: Menstrual Health & Hygiene at Ek Pahel Pathshala 🌸

Ek Pahel Pathshala hosted a meaningful and impactful session on β€œBreaking the Silence: Menstrual Health & Hygiene”, bringing together our students and their mothers to create a safe, open, and supportive space for awareness and dialogue.

The session was organized by Akanksha NGO, and we were privileged to have Dr. Seema Pratap, President of Akanksha NGO, as our Chief Guest.

Students from SN Medical College led an engaging awareness session and presented a powerful play that helped break myths and encouraged informed conversations around menstrual health.

As part of the initiative:
✨ Sanitary pads were distributed to girls and women
✨ Eco-friendly cloth bags were shared by Ek Pahel to promote sustainability

At Ek Pahel, we believe that awareness leads to dignity, confidence, and empowerment. Initiatives like these are a step towards ensuring every girl and woman can make informed choices about her health.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Akanksha NGO, Dr. Seema Pratap, SN Medical College students, and our dedicated team for making this session truly impactful. πŸ’™
