One Million Pledge

On the occasion of the World Organ Donation Day on 13th August, 2021 Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Nitinbhai Patel launches the One Million Pledge initiative. This initiative aims to encourage one million people to take a pledge for organ donation so that millions of lives can be saved. Shri Nitinbhai Patel shows his valuable support for this initiative and urges people raise awareness regarding organ donation in the country so that many people can have better lives.

He talks about how the advancement in health system along with Government initiatives have helped citizens suffering from various organ related ailments. He also says that there is much more to be done to help the people of the country. Shri Nitinbhai Patel talks about the important role of hospitals, doctors, media and government in helping people. He shares his insight regarding organ donation awareness initiatives and encourages people to become saviors for their fellow citizens by taking the decision to donate their organs when the time comes.

On the occasion of the World Organ Donation Day, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijaybhai Rupani talks about how the citizens of Gujarat and of India can be heroes for one another by taking the decision to donate their organs to others. He speaks about the role of Institute of Kidney Research in facilitating and encouraging the noble act of organ donation and the important duty of organ transplant in Gujarat.

Shri Vijaybhai Rupani also speaks about the initiatives of Gujarat Government and Indian Government to aid the health and welfare of the citizens. He shares his views on the important of raising awareness about organ donation so that people can understand how impactful this decision can be on the lives of thousands of people.
