Swachh Sabarmati Mahaabhiyan 2026 Begins!
The cleanliness drive was inaugurated today by Hon’ble Minister Shri Rishikesh Patel, Hon’ble Minister of State Smt. Darshanaben Vaghela, and Hon’ble Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri Hitesh Barot.
On Day 1, over 7,500 citizens joined the mission and approximately 68 tonnes of waste were removed from the Sabarmati riverbed.
The campaign will continue until 5th June (World Environment Day). We invite all citizens, NGOs, institutions, and organizations to join hands in making Sabarmati cleaner, greener, and plastic-free.

“સ્વચ્છ સાબરમતી મહાઅભિયાન” અંતર્ગત અમદાવાદના મેયરશ્રી હિતેશભાઈ બારોટે નાગરિકોને સ્વચ્છતા અને પર્યાવરણ સંરક્ષણ માટે વધુ સક્રિય બનવાનો સંદેશ આપ્યો.
અમદાવાદને વધુ સ્વચ્છ, હરિયાળું અને સુંદર બનાવવાના સંકલ્પ સાથે AMC દ્વારા “Mission 5 Million Trees” જેવા જનભાગીદારી આધારિત અભિયાનને પણ આગળ વધારવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે.
“મારું શહેર, મારી જવાબદારી” — સ્વચ્છતા અને હરિયાળી તરફ એક વધુ સશક્ત પગલું.

Small habits may feel harmless, but when repeated by millions, they shape the city we live in. A cleaner, safer and more responsible Amdavad begins with everyday actions. Let’s together with AMC choose habits that make our city better for everyone.

માનનીય વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીની પ્રેરણાથી સ્વચ્છતા, વૃક્ષારોપણ અને ઊર્જા બચત જેવા જનઆંદોલનોમાં લોકો ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક જોડાઈ રહ્યા છે. અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા હાથ ધરાયેલ #સાબરમતીસફાઈઅભિયાનને આવકારતા રાજ્યના ઊર્જા અને પેટ્રોકેમિકલ્સ મંત્રી શ્રી ઋષિકેશભાઈ પટેલે જણાવ્યું કે સ્વચ્છતા એ સૌની સામૂહિક જવાબદારી છે અને આવા પ્રયાસો સ્વચ્છ તથા સ્વસ્થ ગુજરાતના નિર્માણમાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ યોગદાન આપે છે.

આવો, સ્વચ્છતા અને પર્યાવરણ સંરક્ષણના સંકલ્પને વધુ મજબૂત બનાવીએ.
