FICCI FLO Amritsar brought the campaign — A Light • A Song • A Conversation to Doon International School , creating a space for young minds to speak, listen, connect and support.
From lighting Candles of Hope to the song by Tannya Khanna, followed by an interactive conversation with psychiatrist Dr. Nishtha Gupta Arneja | Psychiatrist | Psychotherapist , students explored emotional well-being, challenged myths around mental health and reflected on the importance of reaching out, asking for help and being there for one another.
Changing the narrative, one conversation at a time. 🕯️💜

FICCI FLO Amritsar visited Wadala Village on 14 September 2026 alongside Wadala Foundation (Implementation Partner) and OTT Transformative Foundation (Strategic Partner) to distribute 500 fruit tree saplings and lead discussions on menstrual hygiene and reproductive wellness. Planting seeds today for a sustainable tomorrow. FICCI FLO Amritsar distributed 500 fruit tree saplings to rural families in Wadala Village, supported by GBDSGNS Foundation (Sapling Support Partner). From young children to local elders, everyone came together to plant for environmental health and future nourishment.

Under our Health, Wellness & Life Skills and Agriculture & Food Processing verticals, FICCI FLO Amritsar is reaching out to Wadala Village, bringing together local Sarpanches and 100+ rural women and women farmers to promote women’s well-being and sustainable livelihoods.

As part of the initiative, 500 fruit tree saplings will be distributed to women farmers, encouraging sustainable cultivation, better nutrition and long-term livelihood opportunities.

A dedicated Menstrual Hygiene & Reproductive Health Awareness session, led by a senior gynecologist and team from Preet Hospital, Amritsar, will encourage informed conversations around menstrual and reproductive health and timely access to care.

The initiative is supported by Wadala Foundation as Implementation Partner, OTT (ਓਟ) Foundation as Strategic Partner, and Preet Hospital as Healthcare Partner, bringing together local engagement, strategic support and healthcare expertise.
