As per the instructions of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister D. K. Shivakumar to prevent waterlogging across Bengaluru, desilting of storm water drains is being undertaken citywide.

In this regard, desilting of the storm water drain at Hongasandra (Bommanahalli Sub-Division) has been successfully completed. This proactive measure will ensure smooth water flow, prevent waterlogging, and help safeguard the area during the upcoming monsoon season.

White Topping Road Works Update – BSMILE Initiative

As part of the ongoing infrastructure improvement works under the BSMILE initiative, white topping road works are progressing steadily across key locations in the city to enhance road durability and ensure smoother commuting for citizens.

✅ 17th Cross, Sarvagna School Road
✅ Platform Road, Gandhinagar
✅ Hosakerehalli Main Road
✅ Lazer Road
✅ Dr. Rajkumar Road, Rajajinagar

These works aim to provide long-lasting, high-quality concrete roads, improving urban mobility and strengthening the city’s road infrastructure.

White Topping Work in Progress | BSMILE

Under the BSMILE initiative, white topping work is underway at Platform Road, Sheshadripuram near Apollo Hospital.

One side of the road has been completed, while work on the other side is currently in progress to improve road quality and durability. 🚧

ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಸರ್ವೇಕ್ಷಣ್ 2025-26 ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 30 ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ | ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ

ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಸರ್ವೇಕ್ಷಣ್ 2025-26 ರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದರ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಗರದ 30 ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಶುಚಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಚೋಳನ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಆವರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ
• 105 ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು/ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು
• 442 ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು
ಒಟ್ಟು 545 ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸುಮಾರು 3 ಟನ್ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಅಪರ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ದಲ್ಜಿತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಮೇಲುಸ್ತುವಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಜಿಎಂ ಭೀಮೇಶ್ ನಾಯಕ್, ಎಜಿಎಂಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಟೋ ಟಿಪ್ಪರ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಎಸೆಯದಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವಂತೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
