Reduce Reuse Recycle Save My Future is targeted at children from both government and private schools.

SMFuture will introduce school children to the concept and practice of solid waste management and water quality, conservation and management. These in turn will help the children to reach out to their neighbourhoods (defined as an urban Ward) and communities (self-defined in a geographically contiguous area) through a defined process. Over time, SMFuture will help the children to look at sustainability in all aspects of their community/neighbourhood:

On the account of National Science Day marking the achievement of Sir C.V Raman, a Mega Science fest was conducted at Singapura Govt School. Around 20 School children representatives participated in the program. On behalf of Swachha and Save My Future our volunteers put up a awareness stall with Fun games on Solid Waste Management and segregation of waste.

Thanks to Augastya International Foundation for organising science activities for children. Special thanks to the Singapura Govt School Headmistress & and staff for providing an opportunity to be a part of this programme.

Sharada Public School
Practical Session on the element of Earth. The primary school kids were thought about "Saving Seeds through Wet Extraction Method" in the form of a live demonstration, kids were actively interacting through out the session by asking valuable questions.
The high school kids were given a live demo on Home Composting, only instruction were given by us the students volunteered and completed the activity. BBMP officials from Dasarahalli ward joined us during composting session Mr.Sheshadri, the Environmental Engineer added value to the session by asking kids to take responsibility in keeping the surroundings clean and that the grievances will be addressed if sent a letter or called on helpline numbers. They were also given these activities as vacation assignment, we are curious to see the result once the next academic year starts.
We would like to thank "Annadhana farms" for providing us placards and seeds for conducting our activity. Also would like to thank the management and staff of Sharada Public School for excellent coordination and our volunteers for working as an efficient team.
