ಜಾನಪದ ಕಲೆಗಳ ತವರೂರಾದ ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ನಡೆದ ಎಸ್‌ಸಿ/ಎಸ್‌ಟಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟುಗಳ ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಲ್. ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಕುಂದು ಕೊರತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿ, ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಗೆಹರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದರು.

ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಎಸ್ ಸಿ ಎಸ್ ಟಿ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೀಸಲಾದ SCSP/TSP ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿ, ಅರ್ಹ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಲಾಭ ತಲುಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪದೇಪದೇ ಮರುಕಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ದಲಿತರ ಮೇಲಿನ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಹತ್ತಿಕ್ಕಲು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು, ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

At the SC/ST Commission Progress Review Meeting held today in Chamarajanagar, the land renowned for its rich folk art and cultural heritage, Dr. L. Murthy, Chairman of the Karnataka State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission, participated in the meeting, heard the grievances of the public, and directed the concerned officials to ensure their prompt resolution.

He instructed officials to ensure that SCSP/TSP funds earmarked for the development of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the district are utilized with the highest standards of transparency and accountability, ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.

Dr. Murthy also directed the district administration to take immediate and effective measures to curb the recurring incidents of atrocities against Dalits in the district and to ensure timely action in accordance with the law.

The meeting was attended by the Commission’s Secretary, Members, officials, and district administration authorities.

ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮಸಣಾಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಂಗನೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಬಿ.ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟುಗಳ ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಲ್. ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸ್ಥಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಘಟನೆಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು, ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿ ಭಾರತ ರತ್ನ ಡಾ. ಬಿ.ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ, ವಿಚಾರಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಪಮಾನವಲ್ಲ, ದೇಶದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಪಮಾನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು, ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳು, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Following the incidents in Masanapura and Honganuru villages of Chamarajanagar district, where portraits of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar were allegedly desecrated, Dr. L. Murthy, Chairman of the Karnataka State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission, personally visited both villages today to inspect the sites.

During the visit, he received a detailed briefing from the concerned officials regarding the incidents and directed them to take strict and appropriate legal action against those responsible.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Murthy stated that respecting the legacy, ideals, and the Constitution associated with Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, is the duty of every citizen. He emphasized that insulting Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait is not merely an insult to an individual, but an affront to the Constitution of India and the fundamental values of equality, justice, and human dignity that it upholds.

The visit was attended by the Commission’s Secretary, Members, the Deputy Commissioner, and other district officials.

ಇಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್‌ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಎಸ್‌ಸಿ/ಎಸ್‌ಟಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟುಗಳ ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಲ್. ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು.

"ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಎಂಬುದು ಕೇವಲ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಸುಖವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಒರೆಸಲು ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಅವಕಾಶ." ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯವೈಖರಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿ, ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

At the SC/ST Commission Progress Review Meeting held today at the District Panchayat Hall in Mysuru, Dr. L. Murthy, Chairman of the Karnataka State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission, presided over the meeting and discussed several important issues.

Addressing the officials, he remarked:

“Authority is not merely a privilege to be enjoyed; it is an opportunity to wipe the tears of the common people.”

He emphasized the responsibility of public service and administrative accountability. Dr. Murthy also heard public grievances presented during the meeting and directed the concerned officials to take immediate action.

ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್‌ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ SC/ST ಆಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟುಗಳ ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಲ್. ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ, ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು.

ದಲಿತರಿಗೆ ಶವಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು, ಸ್ಮಶಾನದ ಜಾಗ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ಆಗಿರುವುದು, ರೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಹೆಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂ ಒಡೆತನ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಂಚನೆ, ದೇವದಾಸಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ನಿವೇಶನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ, ಹಾಗು ಶಾಲಾ-ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆವರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನೈತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿ, ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.

At the SC/ST Commission’s progress review meeting held at the Zilla Panchayat Hall in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Vijayanagara district, Chairman of the Karnataka State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Dr. L. Murthy, participated and discussed several important issues.

During the meeting, grievances raised by the public were heard, including the lack of burial grounds for Dalits, encroachment of cremation land, alleged fraud in land ownership schemes under the guise of roster implementation, the need to provide housing sites for Devadasi women, ensuring educational opportunities for their children, and concerns regarding immoral activities taking place in school and college premises during nighttime. Dr. Murthy directed the concerned officials to take immediate action on these issues.

The Commission Secretary, members, officials, and district administration officers were also present on the occasion.

ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ನಗರಿ ರಾಮನಗರದಲ್ಲಿಂದು ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ.ಎಲ್ ಮೂರ್ತಿರವರು, ಆಯೋಗದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖಂಡರುಗಳ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತದೇಕಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ಆಲಿಸಿ, ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ತತ್ ಕ್ಷಣ ಇತ್ಯರ್ಥಪಡಿಸಲು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ SCSP/TSP ಅನುದಾನದ ಕುರಿತು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

At the progress review meeting held today in the Silk City of Ramanagara, Commission Chairman Dr. L. Moorthi presided over the Bengaluru South District review meeting. He attentively heard the grievances and concerns of the public and community leaders, received petitions, and directed district administration officials present at the meeting to ensure immediate action and speedy resolution of the submitted applications.

The Chairman also held a comprehensive discussion with district officials regarding the allocation and utilisation of SCSP/TSP funds across various government departments. Members of the Commission, government officials, and district administration officers were present at the meeting.

ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡದ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ನಡೆದಾಗ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ನಿಗದಿತ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷಾರೋಪ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯ ನಾಶ, ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರದಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಲ್ ಮೂರ್ತಿರವರು ಮೌಖಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರ ಅಹವಾಲು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲೇ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ತಾಖೀತು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Dr L. Moorthi, Chairman of the Commission, issued a strong warning to officials during the progress review meeting in Vijayapura district. He emphasised that in cases of atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the accused must be arrested immediately, and charge sheets must be filed within the stipulated time. He also directed the police department to ensure that evidence is not destroyed and that witnesses are not influenced.

During the meeting, he also instructed officials to receive grievances from the community, discuss issues in the presence of the relevant authorities, and ensure their timely resolution.

ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ.ಎಲ್ ಮೂರ್ತಿರವರು, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಪ.ಜಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ.ಪಂಗಡದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿದವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಿರ್ಧಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಇದೆ ವೇಳೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್ಸಿಎಸ್ಪಿ/ಟಿಎಸ್ಪಿ ಅನುದಾನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಸ್ತೃತವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ,ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

Dr. L. Moorthy, Chairman of the Commission, addressed the progress review meeting held in Belagavi district. He stated that strict action will be taken against those who commit atrocities against the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the implementation of government schemes allocated to the district, as well as SCSP/TSP funds. Officials and community members actively participated in discussions on key issues and possible solutions. Members of the Commission and officials were present at the meeting.

A significant meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr L. Murthy, Hon’ble Chairman of the Karnataka State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The discussion focused on internal reservations for Scheduled Castes, the current status of recruitment in government and autonomous institutions for these communities, and the measures being taken to fill vacant posts, including backlog vacancies. The meeting highlighted the importance of ensuring proper representation and timely action in addressing pending appointments.
