26𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 2026 || 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐨 || 𝐘𝐈𝐀𝐌 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫
It was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Metroparks Toledo, an institution which itself has such an inspiring history of 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦’𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱. 🛞
Despite untimely rain, it was so fulfilling to witness citizens coming out in larger numbers for our flagship ‘𝘛𝘪𝘯𝘺 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘎𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘙𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴’ session.
Participants' genuine enthusiasm and depth of expertise made every bit of effort worthwhile. We were joined by an inspiring group of individuals — a couple who had been practicing 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴 🌱, another person who had already planted over a 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘴🌳, and an 83‑year‑old woman deeply devoted to the 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 🫶, among many others.
There was a clear appreciation for the emphasis on 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐄 as the preliminary foundational step towards 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. ☮️ 🌏
Thanks to Ms. Lisa Whitton, Director - Park Services for organizing these two sessions seamlessly and for giving us a detailed tour of the campus. 🙏
Gratitude to Smita di and Nilam aunty for all the coordination behind the scenes and Dr. Bharat for voluntarily covering every moment with love and professionalism. 💌

What happens when rural women finally get a safe space to speak, question, and learn? It changes everything.
Psychosocial and leadership training is not just a “capacity-building activity” — it is a powerful enabler. It helps women navigate deeply rooted gender norms, build confidence, and step into leadership with clarity and courage.
This is the second batch of the 15-day training program for SHG women from Uttar Pradesh, organised by Arya.ag, which focuses on empowering rural women leaders through psychosocial support, leadership development, rights awareness, and exposure to practical tools for holistic growth.
At B4C, we are glad to implement this program by bringing together facilitators across domains – creating a learning space that was participatory, safe, and deeply engaging.
Through group discussions, case-based learning, and real-life exposure, something powerful unfolded - women didn’t just attend; they opened up.
And their voices say it best:
These are not just reflections. They are indicators of a shift. Because when women begin to question, they begin to lead. And when leadership emerges from lived experiences, it transforms not just individuals, but entire communities.
Gratitude to all facilitators, and special thanks to Arya.ag

"This is the kind of school the world needs today. I wish I could work in such a hopeful environment." 🌍
This was the emotion I felt when I visited Wildwood Environmental Academy for a session with their senior students. The school simply blew my mind off with their initiatives.
For example, a simple, creative idea—a Mobile Parking Zone—addressed the distraction challenge in a super cool manner.📵
Likewise having a live animal station in each class fostered a deeper sense of co-existence and developed curiosity to learn more about fellow living beings. 🐍 🦎
The efforts towards environment-related experiential learning are top-notch. Their diverse hands-on projects—such as Student Watershed Watch, Monarch Butterfly Tracking 🦋, Student-led Paper, Cardboard, Plastic and Metal Recycling Programs ♻️, student-designed native plant garden🌺 and caring for northwest Ohio’s native box turtles🐢 —have a direct and positive impact on their local and national communities.
After our session, the students' great excitement and preparedness while showing us around the campus was the icing on the cake. Grateful to their mentors for anchoring the students' journeys so profoundly.
Thanks to Smita di for this wonderful connect.

23rd - 25th Mar 2026 || Tiffin University || YIAM Movement USA Tour
Engagement at Tiffin University was super inspiring.
It started with a casual conversation with Dr. Liz, where we proposed a couple of sessions with the students. But the enthusiasm and openness to cross-learn shaped it into a full-fledged three-day engagement where we interacted with more than 180 students and faculty members in 8 sessions.
The deeper encouragement lied in the fact that students joined us from diverse departments - Social science, Criminal Justice, Arts, Education and Humanities, Science etc. along with the administration team right from associate registrar, coordinator of assessment and institutional advancement officer.
The similar values of co-existence and collaboration were visible across the campus in the form of Peace Garden, Dignified Free cloth sharing platform, wildlife art gallery, economical dining mess with even vegan options available and many more.
We see this engagement as a beginning of something deeper and long-lasting. Thanks to respected professors for sharing their class time with us. Deep gratitude to Dr. Liz who envisioned this engagement & took it altogether to a great height.

10 Mar – 31 Mar 2026 || Yes! I Am Mindful Movement || USA Chapter
We concluded a deeply meaningful and memorable journey across the United States, sharing the vision of co‑creating the Yes! I Am Mindful Movement.
Over the course of three weeks, we engaged with more than 375 participants — including students, faculty members, working professionals, and community groups — through 17 sessions hosted in universities, schools, city parks, and among friends & families. Each gathering explored Mindful Consumption as a powerful practice for enhancing personal wellbeing while simultaneously contributing to Climate Action.
The sessions were warmly received, opening pathways for future collaborations with diverse stakeholders. Feedback averaged an encouraging 8.6/10, reflecting both resonance and impact.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this trip a success. Institution‑wise stories of learning and engagement will be shared shortly.

2nd edition of our engagement with Arya.ag on virtual training for SHG women from Uttar Pradesh.
Psychosocial and leadership training is a significant tool for women leaders as it empowers them to navigate gendered challenges, build confidence, and develop essential skills for effective leadership, ultimately leading to better outcomes for themselves and society.
A 15-day training program was organised by Arya.ag for empowering rural women leaders with psychosocial support, leadership skills, awareness of rights, and exposure to tools and practices for holistic development. Through participatory learning methods, group discussions, case-based activities, and real-life exposure, the training created a safe and engaging environment for women to share, learn, and lead. Bridge4Change is delighted to implement the training with integrating the expertise of a number of facilitators in each aspect of the training.
Gratitude to all facilitators, and special thanks to Arya.ag
Looking forward to many more meaningful collaborations ahead!
