As part of Civil Defence Rising Day celebrations, KCDC Unit- Division-60 organized a webinar on Civic leadership. The lecture was rendered by Dr Jonas Richard, Head of Dept of Social Work at Kristu Jayanti College.

MAP READING TRAINING

DATE: 13 November 2021

Training session was delivered by Mr. Shree Hari GV at 10am in the Mini Auditorium 1 of the college. The session was highly educational, giving the basics of map reading, types of maps and the technique of handling a compass.

First offline activity was conducted from 1.30pm to 5pm In the Chavara Square at Kristu Jayanti College.

SWACHATA ABHIYAN 🧹

Sanitation and cleanliness are among the humblest of civic virtues and it is easy to underestimate their significance ~ Ram Nath Kovind.
To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, KCDC volunteers came out on streets in groups of 3 to 5 members and cleaned their surroundings.
With teamwork, any little contribution you make yields greater output when it meets the contribution of others and guess who gets the plus? Everyone in the team!!!

COVID VACCINATION DRIVEπŸ’‰πŸ’‰πŸ’‰

DATE: 19th to 31st August and 17th September

The aim of this drive was to provide free and safe vaccine( both covidsheild and covaxin) to everyone on a first come first serve basis. The drive was conducted in college campus by the Jayantian Extension Services in collaboration with the BBMP. All the necessary precautions and guidelines were followed

E- QUIZ ON WORLD ENVIORNMENT DAY

DATE: 5th June to 7th June

A total of 599 volunteers from KCDC and NSS participated in this exciting quiz. Quizzers scoring 30% or more were awarded an e- certificate as a token of appreciation.
Alongside, another activity of planting sapling at home was also conducted.
