As part of the programme by the , we were glad to send Ms. Haritha John from The News Minute to Germany. The trip focused on combating digital disinformation and fact-checking—even at grassroots levels. She also explored transparent governance, investigative journalism, civic education, democratic resilience, media innovation, and press freedom.

From discussions with experts at Deutsche Welle and the news-polygraph Research Alliance, to guided tours of the Topography of Terror and insights into local democracy in Leipzig, she experienced Germany’s media and civic landscape firsthand.

Berlin opens office in India 🇩🇪🇮🇳

Ms Franziska Giffey , Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises in the State of Berlin inaugurated the Berlin Business Office India at the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in Bengaluru.
