Inspiring Young Agripreneurs in Sericulture
Team NaaViC conducted an Agripreneurship Orientation Program at the College of Sericulture, Chintamani for students pursuing sericulture studies. The session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 130+ students, reflecting a strong interest among young minds toward agribusiness and entrepreneurship.
The session aimed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit among students and introduce them to the wide range of startup opportunities in the sericulture sector. Participants were briefed about government initiatives, incubation support, and grant-in-aid opportunities available for students, particularly through NaaViC’s NUZEN program, which supports student innovators in transforming their ideas into startups.
The discussion also highlighted successful entrepreneurs in the sericulture sector, inspiring students to explore innovative ventures and develop sustainable agribusiness enterprises.

Empowering Farmers through Entrepreneurship in Sericulture!
Team NaaViC successfully conducted a 3-Day Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) on Sericulture at the College of Sericulture, in collaboration with KVK Chintamani. The program witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 45 farmers, who actively engaged in sessions focused on entrepreneurship opportunities in the sericulture sector.
During the program, participants were introduced to the benefits of entrepreneurship in agriculture, various government support initiatives, and opportunities to participate in upcoming incubation and capacity-building programs. The sessions emphasized the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among farmers, enabling them to transform traditional farming practices into sustainable and profitable agri-enterprises.
Such initiatives aim to strengthen rural livelihoods, promote innovation in agriculture, and encourage farmers to become agripreneurs.

NaaViC conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Program at Veterinary College, Hassan, focusing on opportunities in livestock, veterinary health, and agriculture sectors.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. O. R. Nataraj, Dean, Veterinary College, Hassan, who highlighted the importance of empowering farmers and youth through entrepreneurship. Dr. Nagappa emphasized the role of such initiatives in promoting self-employment and income diversification in agri and allied sectors.
The program was attended by 55 students and staff. Expert sessions were delivered by Dr. Ravi Kumar, Dr. Prahalad, Dr. Sundaresh, Dr. Shilpa, and Dr. Veena, along with practical insights from Mr. Manjunath (Mushroom Entrepreneur) and Mr. Jayachandra (Apiculture Entrepreneur).
Team NaaViC also conducted an orientation on agri-innovation and startup opportunities, encouraging participants to transform ideas into viable enterprises.

Team NaaViC organized the SHTIJ Bootcamp in the Animal Health and Production sector at IABM, GKVK, UAS Bengaluru, bringing together students for an engaging and informative session. The bootcamp focused on creating awareness and sparking discussions around key aspects of animal health, livestock production, and their importance in strengthening the agricultural ecosystem. NaaViC successfully organized a Promotional Bootcamp on the Sh*tij ABI Programme at the College of Agriculture, Chamarajanagara (UAS, Mandya).
The bootcamp highlighted the facilities, incubation support, and personalized one-on-one mentoring sessions that will be offered to applicants under the programme. The session was highly interactive, encouraging meaningful discussions and inspiring students to explore innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 70+ students, making it a resounding success.
