The Government of India, the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, and the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) have fixed retail prices of 30 essential drug formulations used in the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, infections, and women's health conditions.

This patient-centric initiative will help make life-saving and long-term medications more affordable, reducing the financial burden on millions of families across the country. Ensuring access to quality healthcare at reasonable prices is a significant step towards building a healthier and more equitable India.

Such measures reaffirm the commitment to affordable healthcare and the welfare of every citizen.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರಂನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಎಂ.ಇ.ಎಸ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ದತ್ತಿ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆ.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಕೇವಲ ಅಂಕಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಪದವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೆ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬೇಕು, ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಇಂದಿನ AI ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಚಿಂತನಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಇಂದಿನ ಸಹಿ ನಾಳೆ ಆಟೋಗ್ರಾಫ್ ಆಗಬೇಕು” ಎಂಬ ಗುರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

I was delighted to participate as the Chief Guest at The Literary Confluence and Book Launch organized by Spark Igniting Minds Publications at Atta Galatta, Bengaluru.

During my address, I emphasized that reading books should become a lifelong habit, especially among children and youth, as it helps reduce stress, enhances creativity, improves communication skills, and builds character. In an age dominated by mobile phones and social media, books remain a powerful source of knowledge, wisdom, and personal growth.

I also highlighted that true leadership is about creating opportunities for others and contributing towards nation-building through education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and strong values.

I was pleased to join in the launch of Story Through My Eyes – Part 2, Unspoken Mysteries, and Whispers of the Soil, and congratulate the authors on their valuable contributions to literature.

ಇಂದು ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ತಗಚಗೆರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೋಡಂಬಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸದರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ನಾಲ್ಕು ನೂತನ ಬಸ್ ತಂಗುದಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದೆ.

ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ಸಂಚಾರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಬಸ್ ತಂಗುದಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಫಲ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನಿಗೂ ತಲುಪಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ಜನಪರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
